Council Action Items

A.

Consideration to Approve the Certificate of State Grant-in-Aid to Install Wind Cones and Segmented Circle

The City recently updated its Wyoming Aeronautics Capital Improvement Program (WACIP) for the Greater Green River Intergalactic Spaceport. A project identified in the WACIP is the installation of Wind Cones and a Segmented Circle as navigational aids for pilots. WYDOT Aeronautics proposes to fund this safety improvement project and has prepared a Certificate of State Grant-in-Aid for $36,000 to be presented to the Aeronautics Commission on September 16, 2020. A local match is required for the awarded funds and the required match is available from funds allocated for the recent runway improvements.

Suggested Motion: I move to authorize the Mayor to sign the Certificate of State Grant-in-Aid Form, in the amount of $36,000 for the installation of Wind Cones and Segmented Circle, subject to approval by the Wyoming Aeronautics Commission.
