Officers were dispatched to a call on Adams Street when the reporting party advised a 51 year old female was not breathing and unresponsive. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene and she was turned over to the coroner to determine manner and cause of death.
A report of Threatening Telephone Calls was taken on E 3rd N when the victim advised she is receiving threatening calls from her ex-boyfriend who lives out of state. The officer called the suspect’s number and left a message requesting him to stop calling the victim and to call the officer regarding the complaint.

Officers took a report of Larceny by Bailee on W Flaming Gorge Way when a local motel advised a customer left without paying for his room and the outstanding bill was for over $2300. The case has been turned over to the investigation division.
Officers took a report of an attempted Fraud on N Riverbend Drive when the victim advised he received an automated call from a credit bureau. The victim stated he hung up the phone when the recording asked for his social security number and no personal information was given and there was no monetary loss.
Mark L Oberg, age 29, of Green River was arrested on 2/13/13 at 3:14 pm on E Teton Blvd on warrants out of Circuit Court for Failure to Pay Fines on the original charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance, Use of a Controlled Substance, Larceny and Driving While suspended.
Thomas Courtney, age 22, of Rock Springs was arrested on 2/14/13 at 12:23 am on I-80 at milepost 99 for Felony Property Destruction. Officers were dispatched to N 8th W when a female subject advised her ex-boyfriend just vandalized her car. The suspect was later located on I-80 and he admitted to causing the damage. He was taken into custody and transported to jail.
Officers took a report of an attempted Fraud on Hitching Post Drive when the victim advised she received a call from a male with an accent advising he was with FED Ex and she had won a raffle through Walmart. The victim realized it was a scam and lost no money or gave out no personal information.
