George D Garcia, age 53, of Rock Springs was arrested on 2/24/13 at 12:26 pm on Uinta Drive for Domestic Battery. The Rock Springs PD put out an attempt to locate Garcia for his involvement in a domestic battery that occurred in their jurisdiction. Garcia was located in Green River and taken into custody and he was transported by a Sheriff’s deputy to jail.

Officers investigated a report of a domestic battery on that occurred on I-80 three miles east of Green River. A report was taken and forwarded to the County Attorney’s office for review.

A 16 year old male was cited for No Insurance and a second 16 year old male was cited for Minor in Possession of Tobacco on 2/23/13 at 12:45 pm on Astle Ave. Officers stopped a vehicle for no front license plate and during the traffic stop the officer discovered the two violations.

Officer investigated a report of suspicious circumstances on Bridger Drive when the reporting party advised she heard noises in her home. Officers checked the residence and found nothing unusual.
Officers assisted Fire Department personnel with a fire in a chicken coop on W Flaming Gorge Way.

A 15 year old male and two 16 year old males were cited for Curfew on 2/23/13 on W Teton Blvd at 01:16 am. The juveniles were cited and released to their parents.

Officers were dispatched to a residence on Davy Crockett Drive regarding an 87 year old male who was not breathing. The victim did not respond to attempts by EMT’s to revive him. The coroner was notified and he took possession of the deceased.

Officers assisted ambulance personnel on Colorado Drive with a 66 year old male suffering from health issues brought on by a pre-existing illness.

Officers were dispatched to Monroe Ave regarding a suspicious vehicle. The car was left with headlights on; the owner was contacted and advised.

Officers assisted ambulance personnel on W Flaming Gorge Way with a 69 year old male who was reportedly extremely ill. The subject was taking medication and had a very high blood alcohol concentration. He was transported to the hospital for observation.

Officers responded to an address on Madison Ave for a third party request for a welfare check on an individual. The subject was contacted and asked to call the reporting party.

Officers assisted Probation and Parole agents by witnessing a client’s drug test on Commerce Drive.

Officers assisted Highway Patrol Troopers with traffic control at a crash in the tunnels on I-80.

Officers assisted ambulance personnel on Cumorah Way with a female subject who was complaining of chest pains and nausea.
