Laura M Miller, age 50, of Green River was arrested on 5/25/10 at 02:17 hours on W 2nd N. Miller was stopped for multiple traffic violations and was found to be under the influence of alcohol. Miller was asked to perform several sobriety maneuvers and the results indicated she was too intoxicated to drive. Miller was arrested and transported to the Sweetwater County Detention Center and a breath test showed her blood alcohol concentration to be the twice the legal limit to safely drive a motor vehicle.
Gregory A Davis, age 23, of Reliance Wyoming was arrested on 5/24/10 at 15:45 hours on Commerce Way. Davis reported to Probation and Parole and a urinalysis showed him to have use marijuana, methamphetamine and opiates. Davis admitted to using marijuana and hydrocodone, but denied using methamphetamine. Davis was arrested for violation of his probation and transported to the Sweetwater County Detention Center without incident.
A report of a Fraud was taken on E Flaming Gorge Way on 5/24/10 at 16:02 hours. Ruth Lauritzen reported she received a phone call soliciting funds for Fire District #1. Lauritzen said when she checked into the request further she found it to be fraudulent. Lauritzen wanted the matter documented and reported it to the police. The GRPD request that citizens be wary of solicitations by e-mail and phone calls and not give any personnel information out if the calls cannot be authenticated.
A bicycle was reported stolen from the area of 1795 Bridger Drive. A gold Easton Cobra bike was taken on 5/24/10 at approximately 15:54 hours. Anyone with information please call the GRPD at 872-0555.
A Disturbing the Peace report was taken on 5/25/10 at 01:01 hours on Wilderness Trail. A subject was contacted and issued a warning.
