On March 13, 2013 at about 1430 hours officers were dispatched to the YWCA in reference to an intoxicated female. Officers made contact with the female who refused to cooperate with officers and appeared to be intoxicated. The female had reportedly recently left Memorial Hospital and still had an IV in her right arm. While trying to convince her to return to the hospital she assaulted one of the Officers. She was subsequently arrested and booked into the Sweetwater County Detention Center for Public Intoxication and Resisting Arrest. She was identified as Summer G Christensen from Rock Springs.
At about 0730 hours a large dog was reported to be running around the playground at Monroe Middle School scaring the students.
Officers informed a subject on the appropriate procedure to follow when experiencing custody issues regarding children visitations.
A School Resource Officer (SRO) responded to a local elementary school to talk with a student who was exhibiting bizarre behavior.
ACO’s were dispatched to an area on East Teton in regards to two dogs running at large.
Officers were dispatched to a local business regarding a medical emergency. Apparently a medical emergency button was being pushed by accident, there was no medical emergency.
Officers responded to a local residence to answer questions from a parent about options in dealing with a child who is uncontrollable.
Officers were dispatched to a local address in regards to a female possibly having an allergic reaction, she was transported to the hospital by a family member.
Officers responded to an address on Alabama regarding a parking complaint.
