A bus driver for School District 2 reported a vehicle passing their school bus while the stop sign was out and the red lights were flashing. Most school buses are equipped with video cameras which video record the outside of the bus on the driver’s side when the stop sign is extended and the red lights are flashing. After an Officer reviewed the video, a suspect vehicle and driver were identified and interviewed. The driver of that vehicle, Jonathan Wilson from Green River was cited for passing a school bus while its lights and stop sign were activitated.
Officers responded to an address on Hawaii Court regarding residence owner finding suspected drugs in the pants pockets of another occupant of the house. The County Attorney’s Office will review the complaint.
A burglary was reported on 2nd North of a vacant structure. An antique wooden humpback chest was taken from the premises. Anyone who may have information involving the stolen chest is encouraged to contact the Police Department with that information.
Casey L Wilson, from Green River was arrested for driving under suspension and was cited for not having an ignition interlock device in the vehicle he was driving.
Officers were called to Ace Hardware in regards to customers that Ace employees thought were possibly shoplifting. Ace Hardware employees said these same customers are in the store on a regular basis and are suspected of shoplifting frequently while in the store. Ace requested that three customers be issued a trespass warning for the store and the parking lot.
Officers were dispatched to an address on West Teton in reference to a disturbance. Officers arrived and were informed by a citizen in the area of the disturbance. Officers located the residence and contacted occupants inside. The residents were informed they were disturbing the peace of others in the vicinity, and upon request agreed to keep things quiet.
Officers responded to an address on Adams in regards to a person being suicidal. Officers spoke with the possible suicidal person and determined that everything was ok.
Officers responded to an address on Idaho St regarding a civil issue.
Officers were dispatched to an address on Clark St. in regards to a dog running loose.
Officers were dispatched to an area on Sundance regarding a large dog running loose, causing a disturbance in the neighborhood. The owner of the dog was located and warned.
ACO’s were dispatched to an address on Astle Ave. regarding two dogs running loose. The dogs were located and impounded at the animal shelter.
Officers were dispatched to an address on Wind River Dr regarding a vehicle parked in the roadway. The owner was located and the vehicle moved.
ACO’s were dispatched to the area of Upland and West Teton regarding a dog running loose.
