Officers were dispatched to N 5th W in reference to a disturbance. The resident’s 19-year-old son had kicked in the door in order to gain access to the home so that he could retrieve some property. The resident notified the police and requested her son be removed from the property and be issued a trespass warning for the residence.
Officers were dispatched to Pizza Hut (220 Uinta) in reference to an alarm. It was determined that an employee had accidentally set off the alarm.

Officers were dispatched to the Hampton Inn in reference to an abandoned 911 call. Officers learned that the person making the call was actually attempting to complete a long-distance call and connected with 911 by accident.
Alcohol and drug related offenses were reported at Expedition Academy. The investigation is ongoing by the Student Resource Officers.
Officers investigated a shoplifting at the Maverik (59 Uinta) where an unidentified male subject left the store without paying for a bottle of alcohol. The investigation is ongoing.

An Officer was dispatched to the Police Department lobby in order to answer some questions concerning a civil issue.
Officers were dispatched to Truman School in reference to a welfare check on a child after the child had not been picked up from the school. The child’s parents were contacted. It was learned that there was a miscommunication on who was going to pick the child up. The child was released to the parents.
A bus light violation was reported on Hitching Post and Wind River. The school bus driver reported that a Ford SUV passed the bus after the driver had activated the lights and stop sign. The investigation is ongoing.

A 2-year-old child was found walking by himself on Medicine Bow near Bridger. The child had wandered away from his father while at the park. The child was returned to his father.
Officers were dispatched to 700 Shoshone in reference to a barking dog complaint. Contact was not made with the owner so a notice was posted for the owner to contact Animal Control.
Officers were dispatched to Alladdin’s on E Flaming Gorge Way in reference to a suspicious incident. The reporting person noticed that the business was closed, but someone was inside. Officers made contact and determined that it was an employee.
Officers investigated a crash at the Green River Horse Corrals. The driver of a Dodge Ram truck backed into a trailer parked at the corrals. The driver was cited for inattentive driving.
A burglary was reported at a residence on Colorado. The residence had been entered and numerous items rummaged through and taken. Detectives and Officers processed the scene. The investigation is ongoing.
Officers assisted with a vehicle that broke down at the Bridger Loaf N Jug. The vehicle was left parked next to the building until the owner could get it towed.
Officers were dispatched to an address on Monroe for a report of unauthorized use of a vehicle. The reporting person advised that she had let someone borrow her vehicle, but they had not returned it as agreed upon. Officers contacted the subject and the vehicle was subsequently returned to the owner.
