Officers investigated a crash on 5th East involving one parked vehicle and one in transit. Barbara Praytor from Green River was cited for inattentive driving and driving an uninsured vehicle.

Officers were called to an address on Cumorah Way regarding possible drug use. Officers arrived and after interviewing occupants of the residence and collecting drugs and evidence of drug use, Christopher C. Polito of Green River was cited for possession of a controlled substance, marijuana.

After receiving information that a student was suspected of being under the influence of a controlled substance the student was taken to the SRO who is a DRE (Drug Recognition Expert). The student admitted to drug use prior to arriving at the school. The student was cited and released to his guardian.

Officers were requested to do a welfare check on an elderly subject on 2nd North. The person had not been seen by a neighbor for over a week and they were concerned for their wellbeing. Officers made contact with the elderly subject who was ok.

Officers were dispatched to an address on Riverview for an abandoned vehicle. The vehicle was tagged as abandoned and will be towed as abandoned if not moved.

Officers were dispatched to a hazardous condition on West Flaming Gorge.

Officers were dispatched to a local elementary school due to a combative student who was causing problems. A SRO responded to the school and the issue was resolved.

Officers observed a loose horse in the area of the horse corrals. The horse was caught and contained in an empty corral until the owner could be located.

Officers were dispatched to the area of Evans in reference to a reckless driver.

Officers were dispatched to the area of Expedition Island for a parking problem.

A local school concerned about the well being of one of the students contacted an SRO about their concerns. After the initial investigation was completed, the child was taken into protective custody. The investigation is continuing.

Officers were dispatched to the area of Andrews and Clark in reference to a dog running loose.

Officers were dispatched to an address on Clark in reference to dog at large that was being aggressive to people in the area.

Officers were dispatched to a dog running loose on Uinta near Ace Hardware. The owner arrived in the area and took possession of the dog.

Officers responded to a 2nd crash on 5th East.
