The SRO investigated a report of student smoking marijuana in a local school. Working with the school administration the student was located and admitted to smoking marijuana in the bathroom at the school.

Officers investigated a crash at the underpass on 2nd South and 4th West.

Officers investigated a crash on Uinta near the entrance to Pizza Hut.

0fficers investigated a crash on the river bridge.

Officers investigated a complaint of an assault which occurred between an adult female and a juvenile female. The case will be referred to the County Attorney’s Office for review.

A local business reported a possible fraud. The business reported they received a call from a male subject with a Middle East accent and made an order for goods and offered a credit card number. The business did not run the transaction. Everything about the order and the caller indicated the attempted business deal was an attempted fraud. Local business are reminded if they receive any orders via the telephone in which the order or the caller raise suspicions to be very cautious in conducting that business.

Officers responded to numerous locations in town as a result of the high winds. Numerous trees were blown over in Green River due to the high winds, some in local parks, some blocked roadways and some on private property. High winds also were the cause of damage to various kinds of personal property throughout the city.

Officers took complaint of a vehicle passing a school bus while unloading students at GRHS.

Officers were dispatched to the area of Florida and Wyoming regarding dogs running loose. The wind had blown the fence over and the dogs were running loose.

Officer responded to a complaint of an erratic driver on Monroe and Hitching Post.

ACO’s responded to an address on Mountain View to investigate a complaint of animal neglect. The animal was okay and being properly cared for.

A crossing guard at Jackson School reported a parking problem. Those people picking up children at the local schools are reminded that parking in certain areas is prohibited and those who choose to park in those areas will be issued citations.

Officers assisted agents at Probation and Parole.

ACO’s responded to the area of Bridger and East Teton in regards to a dog at large.

Officers assisted medical personnel on East Teton.

Officers responded to Indian Hills in reference a parking problem.

Officers responded to a local business to check on employees after receiving a call from a concerned citizen. Everything was fine.

Officers responded to a REDDI report leaving South Wagon Wheel.

Officers assisted medical personnel on Evers.

Officers responded to the area of Bridger and East Teton in reference to a dog in the street getting hit by a vehicle.
