Animal Control Officers were dispatched to the area of Colorado Dr. and Idaho St. to a report of a yellow Labrador Retriever running at large. The dog was not located.

Wade Lee Kobernick, 47 years old of Green River was arrested at the office of Wyoming Department of Corrections, Probation and Parole on a Pick Up and Hold order for a Probation Violation. Kobernick was transported to the Sweetwater County Detention Center and booked into jail without incident.
Animal Control Officers were dispatched to the 1800 block of Virginia Dr. to a report of a large red dog running at large. Animal Control Officers located the dog and followed the dog home and issued a verbal warning to the dog’s owner.
Officers responded to a residence on W. 3 S. to a report of a citizen missing prescription painkillers and believing a family member stole the pills. The victim only requested the suspect be warned of the possible consequences of the theft of the medication.
Animal Control Officers were dispatched to a residence on the corner of Kansas and Bridger Dr. to a report of barking dogs. Animal Control Officers found no one home, but posted a written warning at the residence.
Officers conducted a civil standby on the 700 block of Shoshone Ave.
Officers responded to the area of Hitching Post and Stage Pl. after a witness drove by the area and saw an elderly female striking a child with a belt. Officers were unable to locate the child or elderly woman even after talking to several residents in the area.
Officers responded to a business on E. Flaming Gorge Way to take a report of the business receiving a check that was returned by the bank for insufficient funds. The report was forwarded to the County Attorney’s Office.
Officers were dispatched to the Skate Park on Uinta to a report of a juvenile offering other juveniles chewing tobacco. The juvenile was later located and found in possession of chewing tobacco. The child was released to his parents and the case was forwarded to the Green River City Prosecuting attorney for charges.
Officers responded to a reported disturbance on Easy St. Officers issued a trespass warning to the offender.
