[ARCHIVED] Dispose your unused or expired prescription medications at Smith's Saturday April 27th.

On Saturday, April 27th, the Green River Police Department is hosting a program that is sponsored by the United States Drug Enforcement Administration. The 2013 national drug take-back initiative allows citizens to safely dispose of any unused or expired prescription medications by simply bringing them to the designated pick-up site, which is Smith’s Food and Drug, located at 905 Bridger in Green River. Please bring your unused or expired medications to Smith’s between the hours of 10 am and 2 pm. We also encourage anyone who assists with care of elderly adults to aid them in disposing of medications which are expired or no longer used. A Green River Police Department Officer will be available on-site to collect and safely dispose of the unwanted medications.
