William E Hendrickson, age 52, of Green River was arrested on 5/12/13 at 02:47 am on Wilkes Drive for Driving While Intoxicated and Attempting to Elude a Police Officer. An officer observed the motorcycle Hendrickson was driving to be speeding. The officer turned tried to stop the motorcycle and the driver attempted to elude the officer. The officer finally made contact with Hendrickson after a brief chase and subsequent investigation showed he was intoxicated. Hendrickson was taken into custody and a blood test at the county jail showed his blood alcohol concentration was double the legal limit.

Jessica L Bigley, age 29, of Green River was arrested on 5/11/13 at 6:05 pm on S Center Street and E 2nd S for Driving While Suspended. An officer observed Bigley driving and was aware from prior contacts that her license was suspended. The officer confirmed the suspension through dispatch and stopped Bigley for the violation. Bigley was taken into custody and transported to jail.

Officers were dispatched to a report of a domestic battery on Daniel Boone Drive. Officers spoke with the female half and she advised she was assaulted by her boyfriend while at his residence.

Officers went to the boyfriend’s residence and were unable to contact the boyfriend. The victim’s injuries were documented and the investigation is ongoing.

Officers were dispatched to a residence on Anvil Drive regarding an ambulance assist. A 34 year old female was discovered deceased at the scene. The coroner’s office was contacted and took possession of the deceased. An autopsy will be performed to determine manner and cause of death. The investigation is ongoing.

An attempted fraud report was taken on N 2nd E when the victim advised he received a check in the mail for $995.00 with instructions to cash the check and keep $200 and send the balance by Western Union to a person in Haiti. The victim did not cash the check and no money was sent.

Officers investigated a Hit and Run crash on N 5th W when a car owned by Jessie Weert struck a parked pickup truck owned by Susan Appier. Weert advised officers she was a passenger in the car at the time of the crash and the driver, known to her only as Justin, had left the scene on foot. No injuries were reported and damage to the Weert car was estimated at under $1000 and over $1000 to the Appier truck. The investigation is ongoing.

Officers took a report of lost property on Maryland Drive when the victim reported leaving her wallet in a shopping cart and when she returned to get her wallet it was missing. The victim advised she had cancelled her credit cards and notified her bank regarding her lost checkbook that was in the wallet.

A Malicious Mischief report was taken on W Teton Blvd when the owner of a black Dodge pickup truck reported someone “keyed” his truck causing over $1500 in damge.

A Disturbing the Peace complaint was taken on Wilkes Drive; the suspect was contacted and warned of the complaint and he turned down the load music.

Officers took a report of a vehicle Passing a School Bus on W Teton and Saratoga Drive when the bus driver reported a dark blue Dodge 4x4 with Utah plated passed the bus while she was unloading passengers.

Officers investigated a report of a vehicle Passing a School Bus on Knotty Pine Street at Hutton Street. A suspect was contacted and she admitted to the violation.

A Disturbing the Peace complaint was taken on Wilson Street; officer could not make contact with the suspect at the time. A report was forwarded to the city prosecutor for review.

Officers took a larceny of a bicycle report on Wyoming Drive on 5/10/13. On 5/11/13 the missing bike was located and returned it to the owner.

Animal Control Officers removed an animal carcass from Astle Street.

Officers assisted ambulance personnel on Riverview Drive with a male having a seizure.

Officers assisted Highway Patrol Troopers with a personal injury crash on Hwy 530.

Officers assisted ambulance personnel on Moran Street with a 70 year old female who had fallen and needed assistance.

Officers assisted ambulance personnel on Crossbow Street with an 81 year old male complaining of chest pains.
