Daniel P Griffin, age 20, homeless, was arrested on 6/18/13 at 5:50 pm on W 1st S for Public Intoxication. Officers were dispatched to the area of the Water Park regarding a fight in progress involving numerous transients who were in the area. Subsequent investigation showed Griffin was intoxicated and he was taken into custody and transported to jail.
Tami K Briley, age 33, of Green River was cited for Dog at Large on 6/17/13. Animal Control Officers received a complaint of dogs at large and was able to identify Briley as the dogs’ owner.
A Fraud report was taken on E 2nd N when the victim advised she received a call regarding an old debt she had not paid. Further investigation showed the debt was legitimate and no fraud had taken place.
Officers took a Destruction report when the victim advised he found a small dent on the fender of his vehicle which was parked on E 5th S. The damage was estimated at $100.00.
Officers recovered a stolen hand gun on 6/18/13 at 10:58 am on N 1st E when the owner of a local business bought three guns and wanted the serial numbers checked. A check showed the pistol was reported stolen out of Laramie County in 1997. The seller was questioned and he advised he bought gun at a garage sale in Laramie last year.
Officers assisted Department of Family Services’ personnel with a welfare check on W Teton Blvd. The children at the residence were not in danger and no further services were required.
Officers investigated a crash on Nolan Street when a car driven by Bonnie Ringdahl backed into a parked vehicle owned by Charles Jones. No injuries were reported and damage to both vehicles was estimated at under $1000 each.
Officers took a Threats report on Bridger Drive when the victim advised she has been receiving threatening telephone calls from her ex-fiancé who is out of state and wanted to document the incident.
Officers assisted Department of Family Services’ personnel on West Virginia Street with a welfare check of a child. The children were healthy and safe and the call was unfounded.
Officers assisted Probation and Parole agents by witnessing clients’ drug tests on Commerce Way.
Officers assisted ambulance personnel on Uinta Drive with a possible stroke victim.
