Chris Steffen Chief of Police reports:


Officers responded to an alarm on Evans which was later determined to be accidental.

Officers responded to the Medical Center to assist medical personnel.

Officers responded to an alarm on Flaming Gorge Way which was later determined to be accidental.

Officers responded to the Maverik in regards to a male subject causing a disturbance. Officers arrived and observed a male subject lying on the ground, yelling and swearing. Officers made contact with the individual who identified himself as John Joseph Frank from California traveling via the railroad. Officers determined that he was intoxicated and causing a disturbance and arrested him for public intoxication and booked him into the County Detention Center.

Officers responded to an address on Alabama in regards to a civil issue regarding a custody dispute.

Officers responded to an address on Andrews regarding a malicious mischief.

Officers responded to a parking problem on 2nd East.

Officers responded to Railroad for a citizen assist.

Officers responded to a location on 1st West regarding a 10 year old child on an ATV.

Officers were informed of a suspicious vehicle on 6th West. Contact was made regarding the vehicle.

Officers responded to an alarm on Trail which was determined to be accidental.

Officers were dispatched to an address on Bridger regarding damage to property. Officers learned that people trimming tree limbs resulted in branches falling on a person’s vehicle. The persons involved reached a mutual agreement.

Officers were requested to check on a subject lying in a park. Reporting called back stating the person was ok, just laying down.

Animal Control Officers were requested at an address on Apache regarding a possible injured animal. The animal was contained and returned to the wild.

Officers responded to an address on Brander regarding a civil dispute.

Animal Control Officers responded to an address on East Teton regarding a nuisance dog. One dog was impounded.

Officers were requested to an address in Pioneer Park regarding a traffic complaint.

Officers responded to a second location on East Teton regarding a nuisance animal.

Officers responded to an address on Evans regarding a possible larceny. Officers and the reporting person determined the property was taken by an associate.

Officers responded to an address on Shoshone for a civil standby.

Officers responded to an address on South Wagon wheel regarding one occupant hearing another occupant in an attached apartment yelling and screaming. Officers determined the disturbance to be a verbal argument.

Officers were requested to an address on Cumorah regarding a suspicious person. Officers located the individual and he was taken home.

Officers responded to an address on 5th East regarding a possible domestic dispute. Officers made contact with person involved and determined no police action was necessary.
