Chris Steffen, Chief of Police reports:

Animal Control Officers responded to WWCC regarding a rattle snake on the steps.

Animal Control Officers responded to Connecticut regarding a squirrel in a trap. The squirrel was taken out of town and released.

Officers responded to a gas drive off from the Bridger Loaf and Jug.

Animal Control Officers responded to 98 Uinta Dr in reference to a skunk in a trap. The skunk was taken out of town and released.

Officers assisted Probation & Parole personnel on Commerce Way.

Officers responded to New Mexico Street about a possible theft. It was later determined to be a civil agreement between two persons on repairing a vehicle, and one had become unhappy with the situation.

Animal Control Officers returned to Connecticut regarding another squirrel in the trap. The squirrel was taken out of town and released.

Officers assisted Probation & Parole personnel on Commerce Way.

Animal Control Officers returned to WWCC for another snake complaint.

Officers responded to a 911 call from a residence on Cedar. The call was unfounded and was apparently caused by static on the phone lines.

Officers assisted medical personnel on Jensen.

Animal Control Officers responded to an address on Crossbow regarding a stray cat scratching a toddler.

Officers responded to 5th East for a civil standby while persons picked up personal property from a residence.


Officers responded to Barnhart for a report of a crash.

Animal Control Officers responded to Scott’s Bottom area for a report of a mountain lion. The mountain lion was gone when ACO’s arrived.

Animal Control Officers responded to the horse corrals for a report of horses running loose.

Officers responded to the horse corrals for an abandoned vehicle.

Officers received a complaint regarding one family member getting a tattoo which upset the guardian. Because the person receiving the tattoo was an adult they were advised no police action was appropriate.

Officers responded to Monroe to a report of a badger digging a hole.

Officers responded to an address on Riverview for an intoxicated subject. Officers arrived and persons at that location said the subject would be taken care of. Officers were called back later and arrested Michael Brandon Mount age 24 of Green River, for Disturbing the Peace.
