The following events were reported on July 16, 2013:
Officers were dispatched to an address on Indian Hills, regarding a neighbor singing and playing a guitar outside late at night. The subject was located and advised.
Officers responded to an address on Jensen Street, where they received information about a juvenile runaway. The child returned a few hours after the original report was taken. A report was written and sent to the County Attorney’s Office for review.
Officers were dispatched to the Sweetwater County Library, regarding a parking complaint.
Officers responded to Veteran Park, in reference to a large amount of baseball equipment located at the park. If you know who the equipment may belong to, you are encouraged to contact the GRPD at 872-0555 and assist in returning the equipment to the proper owners.
Officers were dispatched to an address on Waggener Street, regarding a parking complaint.
Officers responded to the Maverick Country Store, in reference to a trespass warning needing to be issued. Subjects were advised and left the property.
Officers were dispatched to East Teton Boulevard at California Drive, in reference to found property. The Officer was able to return the property to the owner.
Animal Control Officers were dispatched to the 500 block of Iowa Street, in reference to a dog at large.
Officers responded to an address on East 3rd South, in regards to a Lifeline alarm going off.
Officers responded to a two (2) vehicle crash on East Flaming Gorge Way. One of the drivers, identified as Oliver Ashenhurst, 22 years old of Casper, Wyoming, was issued a citation for Entering or Crossing a Roadway.
Officers were dispatched to an address on Windriver Drive, regarding a citizen assist.
Officers assisted a broken down motorist on Uinta Drive at Nolan Street.
Animal Control Officers responded to the area of Andrews at Barnhart for a dog at large call.
Animal Control Officers were dispatched to an address on South 5th East, in reference to a cat in a trap.
Officers were dispatched to the area of McDonalds Restaurant and Expedition Island, regarding a verbal domestic between a man and a woman. The individuals were located and separated at that time.
A set of keys were turned in to the Green River Police Department. The keys were booked in to the property room.
Officers and Ambulance Personnel were dispatched to an address on South 4th West, regarding a male subject possibly having a stroke. The subject was transported to the hospital.
Animal Control Officers were dispatched to an address on Riverview Drive, in reference to a vicious animal.
Officers were dispatched to an address on Logan Street, regarding a disturbing the peace call.
Officers assisted a citizen at the Green River Police Department, regarding some questions about illegal drug use.
Officers responded to the Smith’s Food and Drug parking lot, in reference to a parking complaint.
Animal Control Officers were dispatched to the Smith’s Food and Drug parking lot, regarding a dog that was left inside a vehicle.
Officers were dispatched to the area of the Chamber of Commerce, regarding a suspicious person.
Animal Control Officers responded to the area of Evans Drive and Faith Drive, in reference to a dog at large.
Animal Control Officers responded to the 1300 block of East Teton, regarding a dog at large.
Officers were dispatched to the area of Aspen Street, in reference to a group of juveniles that were asking for donations for cancer treatment. The juveniles were located and admitted to trying to obtain property under false pretenses. The juveniles were turned over to their guardians.
Officers responded to an address on Churchview, regarding a citizen assist.
Officers were dispatched to an address on Jensen Street, regarding juveniles having a fire outside. The juveniles were located and advised.
Officers responded to the Ponderosa Bar, regarding a fight that had just occurred, where the suspect fled the scene. The suspect was later located and admitted to assaulting the victim in the bathroom of the bar. A report was written and forwarded to the County Attorney’s Office to file charges on.
Officers investigated a motorcycle crash that occurred in the area of Scott’s Bottom Park.
Officers were dispatched to an address on Hitching Post Drive, regarding a rattle snake that was located in the laundry room of the residence.
Officers were dispatched to the area of Railroad Avenue and North Center Street, regarding an assault that had just taken place. The victim was a transient that was attacked by a group of boys, looking to purchase drugs. Investigation ongoing.
Officers responded to the area of North 7th West and West 4th North, in reference to a barking dog complaint. Officers located the dog and the owner of the dog was advised.
