The following events were reported on July 26, 2013:
Officers were dispatched to the area of West Teton and Monroe Avenue in reference to a REDDI report.
Officers responded to an address on Monroe Avenue, regarding a suspicious circumstance report.
Officers were dispatched to an address on Wilderness Trail, in reference to civil questions.
Officers and Ambulance Personnel responded to an address on Log Cabin, in reference to a female having an asthma attack.
Officers responded to an address on Andrews Drive, regarding a barking dog complaint.
Officers were dispatched to an address on Trail Drive, in reference to a barking dog complaint.
Officers investigated a parking problem on Barnhart.
Officers were dispatched to an address on Bridger Drive, in regards to a larceny that occurred. Investigation is ongoing.
Animal Control Officers were dispatched to an address on Uinta Drive, in reference to, two dogs at large.
Officers responded to an address on Iowa Circle, regarding vandalism to a parked vehicle. Investigation is ongoing.
Officers were dispatched to a local Motel, regarding a welfare check of an infant baby. A report was written involving the incident.
Officers were called to an address on West 4th North, in reference to a suspicious circumstances report.
Officers were dispatched to the 4-H barn, in reference to a mother and son arguing.
Officers assisted the Wyoming Department of Family Services (DFS), in reference a welfare check.
Officers assisted Adult Probation and Parole on Commerce Drive.
Animal Control Officers were dispatched to an address on Crossbow Drive, in regards to a fawn deer running in the street.
Officers investigated a report of Larceny on Cedar Circle. Investigation is ongoing.
Officers were dispatched to the Expedition Island in reference to a vandalism report.
Officers were dispatched to an address on Sundance Drive, regarding a civil paper server being physically assaulted by the homeowner. A report was forwarded to the County Attorney’s Office for review.
Officers responded to the Police Department lobby, regarding an assault report. The assault occurred a few days before. A report was sent to the County Attorney’s Office for review.
Animal Control Officers were dispatched to an address on Riverview Drive, in reference to a dog at large.
Officers were called to an address on Crossbow Drive in regards to a welfare check.
Officers investigated a report of 5 day parking on McKinley Drive.
Animal Control Officers were called to a residence on South Wagonwheel, in reference to a report of animal abuse. Investigation is ongoing.
Officers were dispatched to the City horse corrals, in regards to a reckless driver.
Officers investigated a report of fireworks at 98 Uinta Drive.
Officers were dispatched to an address on East 4th South, in regards to a suspicious person knocking on the RP’s door. During the course of the investigation, Brian Alexis, 22 years of age, was arrested for Public Intoxication, Reckless Endangering and Discharging a Firearm in City Limits.
The following events were reported on July 27, 2013
Officers were dispatched to the corner of Cumorah and W. Teton to a report of loud music coming from a vehicle parked at that corner during the early morning hours. Officers issued a verbal warning to the occupants of the car.
Officers arrested Earl H. Jones, 51 years old of Green River for Domestic Disturbance on Mississippi in Green River. After arriving on scene officers conducted an investigation found a family member had been the victim of a battery. Mr. Jones was transported to the Sweetwater County Detention Center where he was booked into jail. The case has been referred to the Sweetwater County Attorney’s Office.
Officers assisted ambulance personnel at a residence on Crossbow after a report of a 21 year old woman was reportedly having a seizure. The victim later recovered and refused transport to the hospital.
Officers conducted a welfare check at a residence on Wilkes Dr.
Officers conducted a welfare check at a motel room on Uinta Dr.
Officers responded to the Maverik Store at 59 Uinta Dr. after store personnel complained of seven transients digging in the store’s trash. Officers issued trespass warnings to the individuals for Maverik property.
Officers were dispatched to a report of a missing manhole cover near Uinta Dr. and Keith Dr. The matter was turned over to Green River Utilities Department.
Animal Control Officers were dispatched to Medicine Bow Park to report of a boxer type dog chasing deer in the park. The dog’s owner was located and given a verbal warning for allowing the dog to run at large and allowing the dog to chase deer.
Officers were dispatched to the 400 block of W. Flaming Gorge to a report of an injured bird. The bird was gone when the officer’s arrived.
Officers were dispatched to a hang up 911 call at a residence on Schultz St. The call appeared to have been caused by telephone line problems.
Officers were dispatched to a residential burglar alarm at a residence on Iowa Ave. It was reported to have been a basement motion alarm. The residence was secure when officers arrived. A check of the residence revealed pets inside the residence may have set off the alarm.
Officers were dispatched to a welfare check on E. Railroad Ave. Officers were unable to locate the subject of the welfare check.
Officers investigated a harassment report on E. 4 S.
Officers were dispatched to a juvenile problem on W. Teton.
Officers were dispatched to the area of Evers Park to a report of juveniles jumping in front of cars and shooting fireworks. The juveniles were gone when officers arrived on scene.
The following incidents were reported on July 28, 2013
Animal Control Officers were dispatched to a residence on W. Railroad Ave. to a report of an injured bird. The Animal Control Officer was not able to catch the bird.
Officers were dispatched to a welfare check at a residence on Arizona.
Animal Control Officers were dispatched to an animal problem on Arizona and Andrews St.
Officers conducted a civil standby on E. 4 S.
Officers were dispatched to a residence on Wilkes Dr. to a report of domestic abuse. The case is still under investigation.
Officers were dispatched to Schultz St. to a report of a suspicious vehicle. The vehicle was gone on officers arrival.
Officers were dispatched to a residence on Wilderness to a reported trespassing. Officers were unable to locate the subject.
