The following events were reported on August 7, 2013:
Officers were dispatched to an address on Hackberry Drive, in regards to a barking dog complaint.
Officers responded to a business on West Flaming Gorge Way, in reference to a fire alarm. It was determined to be accidental.
Officers investigated a noise complaint on Crossbow Drive.
Officers were dispatched to the Hampton Inn, in reference to a hit and run accident. During the course of the investigation, Officers located the suspect, identified as Clinton Sanderson, a 36 year old male from Utah, who was staying at the Hampton Inn and working in the area. Sanderson was issued a citation for Hit & Run.
Officers responded to an accident where two (2) fawn deer were struck by a vehicle.
Animal Control Officers responded to an address on East Teton, in regards to a dog at large.
Officers assisted Rocky Mountain Power, in disconnecting the power of a residence on Iowa Street, due to a delinquent bill.
Officers investigated a parking complaint at an address on Jensen Street.
Green River Police Department Detectives, along with Rock Springs Police Department Detectives and Sublette County Sheriff’s Office Detectives, conducted an investigation on Illinois Court in Green River. During the course of the investigation, stolen property was recovered from a vehicle parked at the residence and the suspect of the case was already incarcerated at the Sweetwater County Detention Facility. Investigation ongoing.
Animal Control Officers responded to a report of a dog locked in a vehicle on South 2nd East.
Officers investigated a parking complaint on West Flaming Gorge Way.
Animal Control Officers responded to an address on West 2nd North, in reference to a barking dog complaint.
Officers assisted a traveling motorist with directions on East 4th South.
Officers assisted a citizen with disposal of old medications on Hillcrest Drive.
Animal Control Officers cited a person on Colorado Drive, after their dogs were located running at large in the area of Stratton Myers Ball fields.
Officers were called to the area of Uinta Drive and Riverview Drive, in reference to a REDDI report. Officers located the vehicle parked and unoccupied at the registered owner’s residence.
Officers responded to an address on Conestoga Drive, in reference to damage to a vehicle. A report was taken and is currently being investigated.
Animal Control Officers were dispatched to an address on Florida Drive, in regards to an injured cat.
Officers were called to an address on Wilkes Drive, in reference to a trespass warning.
Officers responded to Anvil Park, in regards to a noise complaint. A group of juveniles were reportedly making a large amount of noise.
