Chris Steffen, Chief of Police reports:

The following events were reported on August 21, 2013:


Officers responded to an address on Pecan Drive, in regards to a residential burglar alarm. It was determined that the alarm was accidental.

Officers assisted a subject on Bridger Drive, in reference to a medical emergency.

Officers transported two (2) subjects from the Sweetwater County Detention Facility, to Municipal Court in Green River.

Officers investigated a report of suspicious circumstances in the area of Hawaii Court.

Animal Control Officers responded to an address on East 4th South, in reference to questions concerning a skunk.

Officers were dispatched to an address on Doe Drive, in regards to a residential burglar alarm. The alarm was determined to be accidental.

Officers responded to an address on Aspen Drive, in reference to a civil standby.

Officers were dispatched to the Police Department lobby, in regards to a citizen assist. The subject had information about somebody who was possibly suicidal.

Animal Control Officers responded to an address on Iowa Avenue, in reference to a barking dog complaint.

Officers were dispatched to an address on Mississippi Drive, regarding a domestic dispute.

Officers responded to Adult Probation and Parole, in reference to an arrest and hold order. Upon arriving, Officers took 36 year old Rusti Estep into custody. Estep was placed under arrest for violation of his probation.

Officers were dispatched to an address on Faith Drive, in regards to a residential burglar alarm. The alarm was determined to be accidental.
Officers responded to the Police Department in reference to a traffic complaint.

Animal Control Officers were dispatched to an address on Powell Drive, regarding a dog at large.

Animal Control Officers responded to the skate park, in reference to a dog at large.

Officers conducted a welfare check on a subject, at an address on Hillside Drive.

Animal Control Officers were dispatched to an address on Elk Valley Drive, regarding a rattlesnake at the residence.

Animal Control Officers responded to an address on East 2nd South, in reference to a dog at large.

Animal Control Officers were dispatched to an address on East Flaming Gorge Way, regarding a green parrot sitting in the front yard of the residence.

Officers were dispatched to the area of South 5th West and Blake Street, in reference to a suspicious circumstances report.

Animal Control Officers responded to an address on Georgia Way, regarding a barking dog complaint.

Officers provided a civil standby, for a subject on Mississippi Street. The subject wanted to obtain some property from the residence.

Officers responded to an address on Bridger Drive, in reference to a juvenile problem.

Officers were dispatched to an address on South 1st West, in regards to a citizen assist.

Officers investigated a report of a barking dog, in the area of Upland Way and Pheasant Drive.

Officers responded to an address on Logan Street, in reference to a residential burglar alarm. It was determined that the alarm was accidental.
