Chris Steffen, Chief of Police reports:

The following events were reported on September 17, 2013:

Officers assisted several semi trucks, pulling wide loads, through Green River.

Officers were dispatched to an address in Pioneer Park, in reference to a citizen assist.

Animal Control Officers responded to an address on West Flaming Gorge Way, in regards to a dog at large.

Animal Control Officers were dispatched to an address on Logan Street, in reference to a dog at large.

Officers responded to the Union Pacific Railroad underpass, regarding a semi truck that was possibly stuck.

Animal Control Officers were dispatched to Truman Elementary School, in reference to a dog bite report.

Officers responded to the Maverik Country Store, regarding a possible gas skip report.

Animal Control Officers responded to an address on Medicine Bow Drive, in reference to a dog at large.

Officers were dispatched to Washington Elementary School, regarding an agency assist with the Department of Family Services (DFS).

Officers conducted numerous VIN checks at the Police Department, South 4th West, Uinta Drive and on East 2nd South.

Officers and Ambulance Personnel were dispatched to an address on Mansface Street, in reference to a smoke alarm going off.

Officers were dispatched to an address on Trail Drive, in regards to a possible violation of a protection order.

Animal Control Officers responded to an address on Hoover Circle, in reference to a report of a skunk in the backyard of the residence.

Officers were dispatched to an address on West 3rd South, regarding a report of suspicious circumstances.

Officers responded to an address on Evans Street, in reference to a neighborhood dispute.

Officers were dispatched back to an address on West 3rd South, regarding a subject removal.

Officers responded to the area of Hitching Post Drive and Bridger Drive, in reference to a suspicious subject.
