Officers were dispatched to the area of Firehole Place in reference to a barking dog complaint. Officers located the dog and were able to make contact with the owner.
A noise complaint was reported on Bridger. The property owner was contacted and the music was turned down.
Officers assisted ambulance personnel on Easy Street for an 83-year-old female with severe hip pain.
Three vandalism reports were taken on E Teton. In each incident, the mail box at the reporting address had been damaged sometime during the night. The investigation is ongoing. If anyone had information concerning this incident, please contact the Green River Police Department at 307-872-0555.
Officers were dispatched to the Sweetwater County School District #2 bus barn for a bus light violation that occurred on Hitching Post at W. Virginia. The investigation is ongoing.
Animal Control Officers responded to the area of California and Massachusetts for an animal carcass in the roadway.
Officers investigated a civil issue on Andrews. The reporting person had questions concerning property belonging to another family member.
A concerned citizen reported an issue where a child was left in a vehicle alone while the parent went inside of a local business.
A barking dog complaint was called in on Pennsylvania. Animal Control Officers made contact with the owner and a warning was issued.
Officers investigated a disturbance on S Center. A female subject was called in for creating a disturbance and damaging property belonging to an ex-boyfriend. Contact was made with the subject and several witnesses. The subject was given a trespass warning for the residence and the case has been turned over to the City Prosecutor.
A traffic collision was reported on E 2nd South. The driver of a Ford Freestyle drove off of the roadway and collided with a utility pole, causing extensive damage to the vehicle. Rocky Mountain Power was notified and the vehicle was towed from the scene. No injuries were reported. The driver was issued a citation for inattentive driving.
An assault was reported on Riverview. Officers learned that an argument between three subjects resulted in a physical altercation, where one party to the incident possibly suffered a dislocated finger.
A suspicious person was called in by residents on Andrews. The subject was going door to door, asking for tin foil.
A lost wallet was reported to Officers. The exact location where the wallet was lost is unknown.
Officers responded to a fire alarm at Lincoln Middle School. The alarm was an equipment error.
Animal Control Officers completed a welfare check on Jensen.
A dog at large was reported on W Railroad and N 5th West. The dog was described as a medium brown dog that was growling at children as they walked by.
Officers investigated a traffic collision on Hitching Post at Trail. The driver of a Volkswagon Beetle collided into the back of Jeep Cherokee that was stopped on Hitching Post, waiting to turn left on to Trail Drive.
