Officers had contact with two males who were believed to be out after curfew, it was determined the two males were of age and no violation occurred.
The Streets Division was contacted about cleaning up nails found on East Teton from the FMC Road to Edgewater Park.
Officers answered questions for a resident on Andrews Street concerning civil issues.
Three horses were reported to be loose from their corrals. An officer responded and the horses were returned to their corral.
Officers provided an escort through town for a wide load.
Officers transported three persons from the Sweetwater County Detention Center to Municipal Court for their court appearances.
Several VIN checks were completed at the Police Department.
Officers responded to a report of an abandoned vehicle on Pelser Street. The owners were contacted and they will have the vehicle moved.
Officers responded to a motorist assist on Upland Way and Uinta Drive.
Animal Control Officers impounded a dog at large on Colorado and Upland Way.
Animal Control Officers responded to North 6th West for dogs at large. A verbal warning was issued to persons on Blake Street for dogs at large.
Officers had field contact with three transients on Riverview Drive and Uinta Way.
Officers responded to a report of a little girl screaming on Anvil Drive. Several people were spoken to and there was no sign of a little girl in the area.
Officers responded to an alarm going off on at a business on Uinta Drive. The owner responded and everything was okay.
Animal Control Officers responded to a report of a skunk in a trap on Hoover Drive.
The Water Department was contacted due to a report of a large amount of water running at the intersection of North Center and West Flaming Gorge.
A driver on Monroe was given a verbal warning for having blue lights on his vehicle.
Officers responded to a complaint of a barking dog on Pennsylvania.
Officers responded to a crash at the Green River High School. One vehicle backed up from a parking space and hit another moving vehicle. The driver backing up was cited for Inattentive Driving.
Officers took a report at the Police Department of unlawful use of a credit card. Investigation will follow.
Officers responded to the School District Bus Barn to take a report of a bus violation. The driver, Amber Wilkins, 28 years of age was cited for Driving While Under Suspension and for Passing a School bus.
Officers assisted personnel on Shoshone Avenue regarding a trespass warning.
Officers responded to a report of burglary on East Teton Boulevard. The subject reported that some tools had been taken out of a vehicle.
Officers responded to a person reporting receiving threatening messages on Facebook.
Officers were dispatched to a residence on Riverview Drive. Michael Mount, age 24, was arrested for domestic battery and strangulation of a household member.
A citation was issued to Siosifa Vave, age 29, for Driving While Under Suspension.
Officers responded to a residence on Jensen. A report of Unlawful Contact and Interference with Emergency Calls was made and will be forwarded to the Sweetwater County Attorney’s Office.
