Chris Steffen, Chief of Police reports:


The following events were reported on October 4, 2013:


Officers assisted an individual on Uinta Drive, who was having difficulties with a motorized wheelchair.

Officers responded to Adult Probation and Parole, in reference to a subject having a valid arrest warrant. Upon arrival, Officer took 36 year old Krystal Schultz into custody and later transported to the jail.

Officers were dispatched to the area of Upland Way and Commerce Drive, regarding a possible REDDI report.

Officers responded to an address on Schultz Street, at the request of Law Enforcement Officials from Natrona County, regarding delivering a message.

Officers were dispatched to the Police Department lobby, in reference to a report of a possible theft of identity.

Officers responded to Washington Elementary, regarding a problem with an angry and irrational student.

Officers were dispatched to the area of Shoshone Avenue, in reference to a vehicle crash.

Nuisance Ordinance Officers investigated a report of nuisance property on Pennsylvania Boulevard.

Officers assisted a subject on North 6th West, with questions of a civil nature.

Officers responded to the Green River Chamber of Commerce, in reference to a computer scam.

Officers were dispatched to an address on Uinta Driver, regarding an alarm. It was determined that the alarm was accidental.
Officers responded to an address on Monroe Avenue, in reference to a parking complaint.

Officers were dispatched to the area of North 1st East, regarding an injured dog call.

Officers and Ambulance Personnel responded to an address on South Wagonwheel, in reference to a teenager having an asthma attack.


The following events were reported on October 5, 2013:


Officers responded to an address on East 4th South, in reference to a dog at large.

Officers were dispatched to an address on Alabama Drive, regarding a report of suspicious circumstances.

Officers responded to an address on Wilkes Drive, in reference to a larceny. This case is currently being investigated.

Animal Control Officers were dispatched to an address on South Wagonwheel, regarding a dog at large.

Officers assisted a subject, by way of telephone, with civil questions.

Officers responded to an address on Riverview Drive, in reference to a civil matter.

Animal Control Officers were dispatched to an address on Indian Hills, regarding a dog at large.

Animal Control Officers picked up a stray dog, in the area of Apache Avenue.

Officers were dispatched to an address on Conestoga Lane, in reference to a physical domestic. During the course of the investigation, no signs of physical injury were observed. This report was sent to the County Attorney’s Office, to be reviewed for charges.

Officers responded to an address on Uinta Drive, in reference to a report of suspicious circumstances.

Officers were dispatched to an address on Bridger Drive, regarding civil questions.

Officers investigated a report of hit and run, at an address on Montana Way. This case is currently being investigated.

Officers were dispatched to the north entrance to Pioneer Park, in reference to a two (2) vehicle crash.

Officers responded to an address on Uinta Drive, regarding a verbal domestic between boyfriend and girlfriend.

Officers were dispatched to the area of West Flaming Gorge Way, in reference to an intoxicated subject, lying partially in the street. The subject was gone upon Officers arrival.

Officers responded to the Hampton Inn Hotel, regarding a verbal domestic, between two (2) male subjects that were staying at the hotel.

Officers were dispatched to a vehicle versus deer crash on Riverview Drive. With the authorization of Game & Fish, the deer was dispatched at the scene, by Officers.


The following events were reported on October 6, 2013:


Animal Control Officers responded to the Hutton Heights shopping center, in reference to a dog at large.

Officers and Ambulance Personnel were dispatched to an address on Evers Street, in reference to an elderly male having difficulty breathing.

Officers responded to an address on Wyoming Drive, regarding a residential alarm. It was determined that the alarm was accidental.

Animal Control Officers were dispatched to an address on Evans Street, in reference to a dog at large call.

Officers responded to an address on Uinta Drive, regarding an abandoned 911 call. Upon arrival, Officers determined that the call was accidental.

Animal Control Officers were dispatched to an address at the 98 Uinta Drive trailer court, in reference to a skunk in a trap.

Officers responded to an address on Wilderness Court, regarding a report of trespassing at the residence.


Officers were dispatched to the area of East 2nd South at the Maverik Country Store, in reference to a hit and run. During the course of the investigation, Officers were able to locate a possible suspect, though the suspect denied having any involvement in the case. This case was forwarded to the City Prosecutor, to review for charges.

Officers responded to an address on Jensen Street, regarding a possible violation of a Protection Order. Officers were unable to locate the suspect in the case.
