Chris Steffen, Chief of Police reports:

The following events were reported on October 22, 2013:

Officers were dispatched to Smith’s Food & Drug in reference to a report of possible shoplifting. Two subjects were issued trespass warnings for the store.

Officers were dispatched to a residence on North 1st East Street in reference to a report of a possible scam. The resident reported a subject was selling magazines door to door.

Officers responded to a report of suspicious circumstances on Hoover Drive.

Officers responded to Riverview Drive in reference to a complaint of a violation of the Green River City Ordinance. The subjects were located and advised.

Officers responded to Knotty Pine Street in reference to a complaint of a violation of the Green River City Ordinance. Upon arrival, Officers found that the subject was in violation of the Ordinance. The subject was issued a citation for the violation.

Officers responded to Trona Valley Credit Union in reference to a 911 call. Upon arrival Officers determined the call was accidental.

Officers responded to an address on Bridger Drive in reference to a report of found property.

Officers responded to the Green River High School for two separate vehicle accidents.

Officers responded to Active Realty in reference to a report of a two vehicle accident.

Officers completed VIN inspections at the Police Department and on Wilkes Drive.

Officers responded to the Loaf & Jug on Bridger Drive in reference to a report of two juveniles shoplifting from the store.

Officers tagged an abandoned vehicle in the Pizza Hut parking lot.

Officers responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle on Astle Avenue.

Animal Control Officers responded to a report of a dog at large on East 2nd South Street. The dog was impounded at the Animal Shelter.
