Chris Steffen, Chief of Police reports:

The following events were reported on November 13, 2013:

The charge is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.

Officers responded to Shoshone Avenue in reference to a report of a Vehicle Accident. Devon Turner, age 21, was cited for Inattentive Driving.

Officers assisted a motorist on Hitching Post Drive.

Officers took a report of a Parking Complaint on East Teton Boulevard. A vehicle was found to be blocking the roadway. The driver of the vehicle was contacted by Officers and the vehicle was moved.

Kimberly Larson, age 40, was arrested for Driving with a Suspended Driver’s License and for Possession of a Controlled Substance, Methamphetamine. Larson was also issued a citation for not having vehicle insurance.

Officers responded to South Wagonwheel Drive in reference to a report of a Vehicle Accident.

Animal Control Officers responded to an address on Hitching Post Drive in reference to a Welfare Check on a dog. The dog was reported to have been left outside without food and water. Animal Control Officers made contact with the owner of the dog and the dog was taken inside the residence.

Officers took a report of a Civil Matter on Hoover Circle.

Officers took a report of Shoplifting at Napa. A subject was reported to have taken a can of oil out of the store without paying for it.

Officers responded to an address on Hitching Post Drive in reference to an alarm. Upon arrival Officers determined everything to by okay.

Officers took a report of three Abandoned Vehicles on East Teton Boulevard. The vehicles were tagged for Five Day Parking.

Officers responded to the Sweetwater County Court House in reference to a report of possible drugs. A juvenile walked into the Court House with a suspected Marijuana Pipe. The juvenile was issued a Citation for Possession of a Controlled Substance, Marijuana.

Officers responded to an address on Greasewood Street in reference to a report of a Possible Scam.

Officers responded to an address on Shoshone Avenue in reference to an alarm. Upon arrival Officers determined that everything was okay.

Officers took a report of Suspicious Circumstances on Uinta Drive.

Officers responded to East Teton Boulevard in reference to a report of an injured deer.

Officers assisted Ambulance Personnel on Adams Street.

Officers took a report of a Disturbance at the Mast.

Edward Buckendorf Jr., age 44, was arrested for Driving While Under the Influence of Alcohol.
