Chris Steffen, Chief of Police reports:

The charge is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.

The following events were reported between 6:00 a.m. on January 21, 2014 and 6:00 a.m. on January 22, 2014:

Officers responded to an address on Virginia Circle in reference to a dog at large call. Officers attempted to locate a Blue Heeler mix with a blue collar.

Officers responded to an address on Bridger Drive in reference to a larceny of a bicycle.

Officers responded to an address on West 5th North in reference to a citizen assist.

Officers responded to the Green River Police Department lobby for a citizen assist.

Officers responded to the Green River Police Department lobby in reference to a report of fraud. The reporting party suspected someone was using their name and information to obtain property and credit.

Officers assisted a motorist at South 4th West and Blake Street.

Officers completed VIN inspections at the Green River Police Department and an address on Aspen Street.

Animal Control Officers responded to the area of East Flaming Gorge Way in reference to a dog at large call.

Animal Control Officers responded to an address on Jensen Street in reference to a welfare check on a dog.

Officers responded to an address on Uinta Drive in reference to a citizen assist.

Officers responded to an address on Monroe Avenue, where a citation was issued for an underage person in possession of tobacco.

Officers responded to an address on Alabama Street in reference to a juvenile problem.

Officers responded to an address on Commerce Way. Upon arrival, Officers arrested Roberta King, age 45, on an active Sweetwater County Warrant, in reference to an original charge of Battery Against a Household Member.

Officers had a complaint of harassment on Hillcrest Way.

Officers responded to an address on Bridger Drive in reference to a welfare check.

Animal Control Officers responded to an address on Hitching Post Drive in reference to a barking dog complaint. Animal Control Officers contacted the owner of the animal.

Officers responded to the area of Uinta Drive and Upland Way in reference to a REDDI report.

Officers responded to an address on Uinta Drive in reference to a civil issue over property.

David Hatfield, age 29, was arrested for Driving While Under the Influence of Alcohol.

Officers responded to an address on Fir Street in reference to a residential alarm.
