Chris Steffen, Chief of Police reports:

The charge is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.

The following events were reported between 6:00 a.m. on January 23, 2014 and 6:00 a.m. on January 24, 2014:

Officers assisted a motorist at South 4th West and Blake Street.

Officers responded to an address on Uinta Drive in reference to a report of a parking problem. Officers tagged the vehicle for five day parking.

Officers completed VIN inspections at the Green River Police Department, and addresses on East 4th South and Aspen Street.

Officers responded to an address on Clark Street in reference to a residential alarm.

Officers responded to an address on Wilson Street in reference to a single vehicle crash.

Officers responded to the Green River Police Department lobby in reference to an information report, in regards to a citizen assist.

Officers assisted Castle Rock Ambulance personnel at an address on Crossbow Drive.

Animal Control Officers responded to addresses on South Wagonwheel in reference to reports of nuisance animals.

Officers took a report of property destruction at an address on Shoshone Ave.

Officers responded to an address on North 1st East in reference to reports of parking complaints.

Animal Control Officers responded to an address on East Flaming Gorge Way in reference to a report of a dog at large. Animal Control Officers determined where the animal belonged and issued a citation to the owner.

Animal Control Officers responded to the area of Pennsylvania Boulevard in reference to a report of a dog at large.

Officers responded to an area on Shoshone Ave. in reference to a report of juveniles sledding down a hill into oncoming traffic.

Officers responded to the area of Uinta Drive and Upland Way in reference two dogs contained by a resident. The animals were returned to their owner.

Officers responded to the horse corrals located on East Teton Boulevard in reference to a report of a loose horse. Officers contacted the owner and the horse was returned to its corral.

Officers took a report on Andrews Street in regards to a possible internet scam on Facebook.

Crystal Hanson, age 33, was arrested for Driving While Under the Influence, second offense.

Kreston Sanchez, age 35, was arrested for Driving While Under the Influence of Alcohol, third offense.

Officers responded to an address on Crossbow Drive in reference to an unsecured property. Appeared to be accidental and the property was secured.
