The charge is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
The following events were reported between 6:00 a.m. on January 29, 2014 and 6:00 a.m. on January 30, 2014:
Animal Control Officers responded to an address on Logan Street in reference to a report of a cat in a trap.
Gary Brewer, age 44, was arrested per an active Sweetwater County Warrant in reference to original charges of: Battery Against a Household Member, Interference with Emergency Calls, and False Imprisonment.
Officers responded to an address on Railroad Avenue in reference to a follow up on a prior reported call regarding trespassing.
Officers assisted a motorist on Uinta Drive near Astle Avenue.
Officers responded to an address on Hitching Post Drive in reference to a report of a larceny.
Officers completed VIN inspections at the Green River Police Department and at an address on Schultz Street.
Officers responded to the Green River Police Department lobby in reference to a citizen assist.
Officers responded to Castle Rock Medical Center in reference to a suspicious fracture to an infant. Detectives were contacted and the investigation is ongoing.
Animal Control Officers took a report of a dog bite at an address on Greasewood Street.
Officers responded to the Green River Police Department in reference to a citizen assist.
Officers responded to an address on Adams Street in reference to a civil issue over property.
Officers responded to an address on East 3rd South in reference to a report of a residential burglary.
Officers responded to an address on South Wagonwheel Drive in reference to a parking complaint regarding a vehicle parked in a driveway. Owner of the vehicle was contacted and the vehicle was moved.
Officers assisted Castle Rock Ambulance personnel at an address on Driftwood Street.
Officers responded to an address on Pennsylvania Boulevard in reference to civil questions regarding property.
Officers responded to an address on Wild Horse Canyon Road in reference to a 911 call. Officers arrived on scene and the call was determined to be accidental.
Ryan Landis, age 33, was arrested for Driving While Under the Influence of Alcohol.
Officers located a stolen vehicle at an address on Bridger Drive. The vehicle was turned over to the reporting agency, Sweetwater County Sheriff’s Office.
Officers responded to an address on Railroad Avenue in reference to a suspicious person outside a closed business. Officers contacted the individual and determined everything was okay.
Officers responded to an address on West Flaming Gorge Way in reference to a citizen assist.
Officers responded to the area of East 3rd South and South 4th East in reference to a report of suspicious activity. A vehicle reportedly rolled back into a fence during the night after not having been put in park. There was no damage reported to the vehicle or fence.
