Chris Steffen, Chief of Police reports:
The charge is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
The following events were reported between 6:00 a.m. on February 19, 2014 and 6:00 a.m. on February 20, 2014:
Officers were dispatched to an address on Colorado Drive, in reference to a report of a runaway juvenile. Upon arrival, an Officer spoke with the reporting party while other Officers responded to a separate location, to a report of a suspicious person. Officers on the suspicious person call located the missing juvenile, who was returned home.
Animal Control Officers were dispatched to an address on South Carolina Drive, regarding a report of a dog at large. Animal Control Officers located the animal and returned it to the owner.
Officers completed VIN inspections at the Green River Police Department and addresses on Hitching Post Drive, East Teton Boulevard, Easy Circle, and Driftwood Street.
Officers were dispatched to an address on West Flaming Gorge Way, regarding a report of an abandoned vehicle. The vehicle was tagged for five day parking.
Officers attempted to locate a vehicle from a REDDI report on Uinta Drive.
Officers were dispatched to an address on Indian Hills Drive, in reference to a report of fraud. The reporting party lost a wallet containing personal information that was used by the suspect to set up a false account.
Officers were dispatched to an address on Indian Hills Drive, regarding a parking complaint. Officers tagged the vehicle for five day parking.
Officers assisted Castle Rock Ambulance personnel at an address on Uinta Drive.
Officers responded to an address on Uinta Drive, in reference to a fire alarm. The alarm was reported to be an accidental alarm.
Officers were dispatched to an address on West Teton Boulevard, regarding a report of found property. Officers were able to locate the owner and the property was returned.
Animal Control Officers were dispatched to an address on Bridger Drive, in reference to a report of a dog at large.
Officers were dispatched to the area of Uinta Drive, regarding a report of a traffic complaint. Officers located the suspect vehicle and made contact with the driver to address the complaint.
Officers were dispatched to an address on West 3rd North, in reference to a report of a missing juvenile. While searching for the missing juvenile, the juvenile returned home. It was determined the juvenile was not missing; rather a miscommunication occurred.
Animal Control Officers responded to an address on Clark Street, in reference to a welfare check on an animal.
Officers responded to an address on West Teton Boulevard, in regards to a citizen assist.
Animal Control Officers were dispatched to an address on South 5th East, regarding a report of an animal in a trap.
Officers were dispatched to an address on West Teton Boulevard, in reference to a report of a stolen vehicle. Upon further investigation it was determined the vehicle had not been stolen.
Officers assisted a motorist on Uinta Drive.
Officers responded to an address on College Drive, in regards to an alarm. Upon arrival, Officers made sure the building was secure and a responsible party was contacted.
Officers assisted Castle Rock Ambulance personnel at an address on Juniper Street.
