Chris Steffen, Chief of Police reports:
The charge is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
The following events were reported between 6:00 a.m. on March 25, 2014 and 6:00 a.m. on March 26, 2014:
Officers completed VIN inspections at the Green River Police Department and addresses on Uinta Drive, East 3rd South, Bridger Drive, Crossbow Drive and Florida Drive.
Officers responded to the area of Upland Way, in regards to a report of a suspicious circumstance.
Officers assisted Castle Rock Ambulance Service at an address on Uinta Drive.
Animal Control Officers were dispatched to the area of Upland Drive near Doe Drive, in reference to a dog at large call. Animal Control Officers located a gray Schnauzer and took the animal to the Green River Animal Shelter.
Christian Dunn, age 26, was arrested for Driving While Under Suspension and was issued two traffic citations.
Officers were dispatched to an address on Essex Street, in reference to a fire alarm. Upon arrival, Officers checked the residence and it was determined to be a false alarm.
Officers were dispatched to mile post 91 on I-80, in regards to a welfare check on a motorist. Officers were not able to locate the vehicle and called the reporting party back to confirm last known location on the vehicle.
Officers responded to an address on East Railroad Avenue, in regards to a report of property destruction. The victim reported damage to a vehicle while it had been parked overnight.
Officers responded to an address on Mansface Street, in reference to an attempted computer scam. The reporting party stated they had messages on their computer saying viruses were detected and the computer would crash. If the reporting called a phone number provided and paid a fee the problem could be prevented. The reporting party did not respond to the message.
Officers responded to an address on East Railroad Avenue, in regards to a trespassing complaint. Officers contacted two individuals who were both given trespass warnings for the property.
Officers were dispatched to an address on Hitching Post Drive, in regards to a parking complaint.
Animal Control Officers responded to the area of West Teton Boulevard, regarding a report of a dog at large.
Officers responded to an address on Wyoming Drive, in reference to a report of credit card fraud. The reporting party advised their credit card had unauthorized charges on it, even though the credit card was in their possession.
Officers were dispatched to an address on Uinta Drive, in regards to a juvenile problem. Officers contacted juveniles involved as well as their parents. The parents advised they would handle the matter.
Officers assisted Castle Rock Ambulance personnel at an address on Evers Street.
Officers responded to an address on Alabama Drive, in regards to a report of a juvenile problem. Officers located the juvenile who was returned home.
Blain Kennah, age 33, was arrested for Driving While Under the Influence.
