Chris Steffen, Chief of Police reports:
The charge is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
The following events were reported between 6:00 a.m. on April 1, 2014 and 6:00 a.m. on April 2, 2014:
Officers assisted Castle Rock Ambulance personnel at an address on Crossbow Drive.
Officers were dispatched to an address on Delaware Place, regarding a civil standby.
Officers completed VIN inspections at the Green River Police Department and addresses on: Astle Avenue, North Riverbend Drive, West Flaming Gorge Way and Buckboard Lane.
Officers were dispatched to an address on Bridger Drive, in regards to a report of a suspicious person. Officers contacted the individual and reported everything was okay.
Officers responded to an address on East Railroad Avenue, in reference to an abandoned 911 call. Upon arrival, Officers spoke with employees and determined everything was okay and the call was a line problem.
Animal Control Officers responded to an address on Barnhart Street, in regards to a report of a dog at large.
Officers were dispatched to an address on Monroe Avenue, regarding a report of property destruction to a vehicle and a violation of a court order.
Officers responded to the Green River Police Department lobby, regarding a citizen assist.
Officers were dispatched to the Adult Green River Probation and Parole Officer, in reference to an agency assist. Upon arrival, Officers contacted Angelina Tsukas, age 27, who was arrested per an Arrest and Hold Order for a Probation Violation.
Officers responded to an address on Trail Drive, in reference to a suspicious e-mail received. Officers spoke with the reporting party and advised the e-mail was legitimate.
An Officer responded to a school crosswalk on Alabama Street to assist with pedestrian and vehicle traffic control.
Animal Control Officers were dispatched to the area of Hackberry Street, in reference to a report of two dogs at large. The dogs were described as a Golden Retriever and a Chihuahua.
Officers responded to the School District #2 School Bus Yard, in regards to a report of passing a school bus light violation.
Officers attempted to locate a vehicle described on a traffic complaint on Mansface Street.
Officers were dispatched to an address on Uinta Drive, in reference to a two vehicle crash. Vehicles collided as one vehicle was backing out of a parking space, while the other vehicle was pulling into a parking space.
Officers responded to an address on Fawn Circle, in regards to a citizen assist. The reporting party wanted information about the possible dangers of on-line internet activity.
Animal Control Officers were dispatched to the area of Commerce Way, in reference to a report of an injured dog at large. The dog was described as a German Shepherd that was limping and had no collar.
Officers responded to an address on West Flaming Gorge Way, in reference to a civil standby involving custody issues.
Officers were dispatched to an address on Fir Street, in reference to a report of suspicious activity. Officers contacted the residents and determined everything was okay.
Officers assisted Castle Rock Ambulance personnel at an address on Hitching Post Drive.
Officers were dispatched to the area of Wind River Drive, in regards to a traffic complaint. It was reported juveniles were riding motorcycles on the greenbelt. Officers located the juveniles and they were advised about city ordinances.
Officers responded to an address on Summer View Drive, in reference to an agency assist. Officers attempted to locate an individual for the Sublette County Sheriff’s Office regarding a welfare check.
Officers assisted Castle Rock Ambulance personnel at an address on Crossbow Drive.
Officers were dispatched to the area of East 4th South, in regards to a report of a possible gun shot or fireworks. Officers contacted individuals in the area and determined the disturbance was caused by fireworks.
Officers assisted Castle Rock Ambulance personnel at an address on Mansface Street.
