Chris Steffen, Chief of Police reports:
The charge is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
The following events were reported between 6:00 a.m. on April 9, 2014 and 6:00 a.m. on April 10, 2014:
Animal Control Officers were dispatched to an address on East Teton Boulevard, in reference to a big, orange dog at large.
Officers were dispatched to the area of the Municipal Horse Corrals on East Teton Boulevard, in reference to a traffic complaint. Officers located the described vehicle and addressed the complaint with the driver.
Officers responded to an address on Mountain View, in reference to a welfare check. The reporting party advised they have not been able to make contact with the resident, which is unusual. Officers contacted the resident at the address.
Officers completed VIN inspections at the Green River Police Department and at an address on Kentucky Street.
Officers responded to an address on Wilkes Drive, in reference to an agency assist. Officers assisted Department of Family Services on a welfare check, regarding living conditions in the home.
Animal Control Officers were dispatched to an address on Uinta Drive, in regards to a report of a dog at large.
Officers were dispatched to an address on Hitching Post Drive, in reference to a report of suspicious activity. Officers checked the area and contacted a responsible party for the property.
Officers responded to addresses on West Teton Boulevard and Logan Street, regarding parking complaints. Officers tagged vehicles for five day parking.
Officers assisted a motorist on West Flaming Gorge Way.
Officers were dispatched to an address on West Teton Boulevard, in regards to a report of a disturbance. Upon arrival, Officers contacted the resident and determined a verbal dispute occurred. While at the residence one person was issued a citation for Possession of a Controlled Substance (marijuana).
Officers responded to an address on Nolan Street, regarding a citizen assist.
Officers were dispatched to an address on West Flaming Gorge Way, in reference to a fire alarm. Officers met with a responsible party for the building, checked the building and reported everything was okay.
