Chris Steffen, Chief of Police reports:
The charge is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
The following events were reported between 6:00 a.m. on April 14, 2014 and 6:00 a.m. on April 15, 2014:
Officers responded to an address on West Teton Boulevard, in regards to a citizen assist.
Officers were dispatched to an address on Bridger Drive, in reference to a report of property destruction. The business located damage to the property and also reported the exterior of the building had been spray painted in spots. Officers located damage to another building in the area.
Officers were dispatched to an address on East Flaming Gorge Way, in reference to a report of vandalism. The reporting party advised of damage to city property.
Officers responded to an address on Monroe Avenue, regarding a report of a traffic complaint.
Officers assisted Probation and Parole Agents at the Green River Adult Probation and Parole Office. At the office, William Miller, age 25, was arrested per an Arrest and Hold Order for a Probation Violation.
Officers responded to the Green River Police Department lobby, and took a report of an auto burglary. The reporting party advised property was stolen from inside their parked and unlocked vehicle.
Officers transported two inmates from the Sweetwater County Detention Center to the Green River Municipal Court.
Officers assisted Castle Rock Ambulance personnel at an address on Evans Street.
Officers completed VIN inspections at the Green River Police Department and addresses on: Schultz Street, Colorado Drive, New Mexico Street, Uinta Drive and Daniel Boone Drive.
Officers assisted Probation and Parole Agents at the Green River Adult Probation and Parole Office. At the office, Michael Keeley, age 23, was arrested per an Arrest and Hold Order for a Parole Violation.
Officers responded to nuisance property complaints at addresses on: East 2nd North, Wilkes Drive, California Drive and New Hampshire Drive.
Animal Control Officers were dispatched to the area of West 2nd South, regarding a report of a dog at large.
Animal Control Officers responded to an address on Nolan Street, in regards to a deceased animal.
Officers attempted to locate a vehicle described in a traffic complaint on Logan Street.
Animal Control Officers responded to an address on Hackberry Street, in reference to a dog at large call. Animal Control Officers located a Boston Terrier.
Officers assisted Castle Rock Ambulance personnel at an address on Evers Street.
Officers responded to an address on West Teton Boulevard, in regards to a citizen assist.
Officers were dispatched to an address on Stage Place, in regards to a report of a found property. A cell phone was found in the Shopko parking lot and turned over to the police department.
Officers responded to an address on East Railroad Avenue, in reference to found property. A city street sign was found on the property.
Officers were dispatched to an address on Cumorah Way, in regards to a report of suspicious activity. Officers spoke with juveniles and a parent and reported everything was okay.
Officers assisted Castle Rock Ambulance personnel at an address on Bridger Drive.
Officers responded to an address on Mountain View Drive, regarding a civil standby involving property issues.
Officers were dispatched to an address on Bridger Drive, in reference to a report of a missing person. Officers located the juvenile several hours later who did not come home after school.
Officers responded to an address on Arkansas Drive, in regards to a report of a barking dog complaint. Officers posted a notice at the residence.
Officers were dispatched to an address on Uinta Drive, in reference to an alarm. Officers checked the area and reported the building was secure.
