Chris Steffen, Chief of Police reports:

The charge is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.

The following events were reported between 6:00 a.m. on April 15, 2014 and 6:00 a.m. on April 16, 2014:

Officers responded to an address on Kentucky Street, in regards to a report of three dogs at large.

Officers were dispatched to an address on West Teton Boulevard, regarding a citizen assist.

Officers were dispatched to an address on Lombard Street, in reference to a 911 hang up call. Upon arrival, Officers contacted the resident and reported a child had been playing with the phone.

Officers completed VIN inspections at the Green River Police Department lobby and an address on East 2nd North.

Officers were dispatched to the area of East 2nd South, in regards to a report of a parking complaint.

Officers responded to an address on East 2nd North, regarding a report of an unsecured property. Officers checked the property, reported everything was okay, and secured the property.

Officers were dispatched to an address on Uinta Drive, in reference to a report of accidental property damage.

Officers were dispatched to an address on Upland Way, in reference to a 911 hang up call. Upon arrival, Officers checked the property and reported everything was okay and the call was a line problem.

Officers responded to the Green River Police Department lobby, regarding a citizen assist.

Officers responded to an address on North 1st East, in reference to a two vehicle crash.

Officers responded to a report of lost property at an address on Uinta Drive. The reporting party advised they lost their cell phone.

Officers attempted to locate a vehicle described in a traffic complaint on Hitching Post Drive.

Officers were dispatched to an address on South 7th West, in reference to a report of a burglary. The reporting party advised items were stolen from the property within the last few months.

Officers responded to an address on West Teton Boulevard, in regards to a citizen assist.

Officers took a report of lost property. The reporting party stated they lost or left a firearm at the city shooting range.

Officers were dispatched to the Adult Green River Probation and Parole Office, in regards to an agency assist. Upon arrival, Officers contacted Samuel Soria, age 21, who was arrested per an Arrest and Hold Order for a Probation Violation on an original charge of Property Destruction.

Officers assisted Castle Rock Ambulance personnel at an address on Bridger Drive.

Officers were dispatched to an address on West Teton Boulevard, regarding a report of a disturbance. Officers spoke with parties involved and reported a verbal dispute occurred regarding a custody dispute.

Officers responded to unsecured properties on East 3rd South and West Flaming Gorge Way. Officers checked the properties, contacted responsible parties for the properties and reported everything was okay.
