Chris Steffen, Chief of Police reports:
The charge is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
The following events were reported between 6:00 a.m. on April 17, 2014 and 6:00 a.m. on April 18, 2014:
Officers were dispatched to an address on Wild Horse Canyon Road, in reference to a 911 hang up call. Upon arrival, Officers determined the call to be accidental.
Officers responded to an address on West Flaming Gorge Way, in regards to a fire alarm. Officers spoke with employees of the business and reported the alarm was set off by maintenance being completed at the business.
Officers responded to an address on Bridger Drive, in regards to a report of a juvenile problem. Officers spoke with involved parties and addressed civil questions.
Animal Control Officers responded to the area of Crossbow Drive, regarding a report of a dog at large.
Officers completed VIN inspections at the Green River Police Department and addresses on Montana Way and Idaho Street.
Officers were dispatched to an address on Colorado Drive, in reference to a report of a runaway. Officers later located the juvenile and reported the juvenile was okay.
Officers responded to an address on North 1st East, in reference to found property. A set of keys was found and turned into the police department.
Officers assisted Castle Rock Ambulance personnel at an address on Uinta Drive.
Officers were dispatched to an address on East Railroad Avenue, in reference to a report of a larceny and fraud. The case is currently under investigation.
Officers responded to an address on West Flaming Gorge Way, in reference to a report of a larceny. The reporting party advised a camp trailer had been stolen. The case is currently being investigated by the GRPD Detective Division.
Officers were dispatched to an address on West Teton Boulevard, regarding a citizen assist.
Animal Control Officers responded to an address on Oklahoma Drive, in regards to a barking dog complaint.
Officers responded to an address on Arizona Street, in reference to a citizen assist regarding a damaged utility line.
Animal Control Officers were dispatched to an address on Wyoming Drive, in regards to a found cat.
Officers responded to the Green River Police Department lobby, regarding a citizen assist involving civil questions about property.
Officers were dispatched to an address on Idaho Street, in reference to a domestic dispute.
Animal Control Officers responded to an address on North 7th West, in reference to a report of a dog at large.
Officers were dispatched to an address on Easy Street, in regards to a report of a missing person. Officers located the individual who was determined not to be missing and was okay.
Officers located a vehicle described in a traffic complaint on Flaming Gorge Way. The driver was issued citations for Reckless Driving and Curfew.
Officers responded to an address on Bridger Drive, in regards to a report of a disturbance. Upon arrival, Officers contacted two individuals who had a verbal dispute.
Officers attempted to locate a vehicle described in a REDDI report on East 2nd South.
