Chris Steffen, Chief of Police reports:

The charge is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.

The following events were reported between 6:00 a.m. on April 21, 2014 and 6:00 a.m. on April 22, 2014:

Officers responded to an address on South Carolina Drive, in regards to a civil standby.

Officers were dispatched to an address on Shoshone Avenue, in reference to a 911 call. Upon arrival, Officers determined the call was accidental.

Officers responded to an address on Riverview Drive, in regards to a report of a two vehicle crash. One driver backed into a parked and unoccupied vehicle.

Officers completed VIN inspections at the Green River Police Department and at addresses on: Wind River Drive, Pennsylvania Boulevard, Elm Street, Nevada Place, Missouri Court and Indian Hills Drive.

Officers were dispatched to an address on West Flaming Gorge Way, in regards to a report of a disturbance. It was reported individuals were bothering customers.

Animal Control Officers responded to an address on Monroe Avenue, in regards to a report of a dog at large. Animal Control Officers located the dog and took it to the Green River Animal Shelter.

Officers responded to the Green River Police Department lobby, regarding a citizen assist.

Officers responded to an address on Arizona Street, in reference to a civil matter involving property.

Animal Control Officers were dispatched to an address on Wilkes Drive, in regards to a report of two dogs at large. Animal Control Officers located a Rottweiler puppy and an older dog that were taken to the Green River Animal Shelter.

Animal Control Officers responded to an address on Evans Street, regarding a report of a medium sized brown dog at large.

Officers attempted to locate a vehicle described in a REDDI report on Railroad Avenue.

Cory Allgier, age 51, was arrested per an active Carbon County Warrant for Failure to Appear on an original charge of Possession of a Controlled Substance (marijuana).

Officers were dispatched to the area of East 2nd North, in reference to a report of a two vehicle crash. Officers spoke with drivers of both vehicles and determined one vehicle failed to stop at the stop sign. The driver was issued a citation for a traffic offense.

Officers assisted Castle Rock Ambulance personnel at an address on Uinta Drive.

Officers responded to an address on South Wagonwheel Drive, in reference to a juvenile problem.

Officers responded to an address on West Teton Boulevard, in regards to a citizen assist.

Officers were dispatched to an address on Wilson Street, in reference to a larceny. Upon arrival, Officers spoke with the parties involved and determined the issue was a civil matter.

Officers responded to an address on Wilson Street, in regards to a trespass complaint. The reporting party wanted a trespass warning issued to individuals for the property.

Animal Control Officers were dispatched to an address on West Railroad Avenue, in regards to a report of a dog at large. The dog was located and returned to the owner.

Officers responded to an address on Astle Avenue, in reference to a two vehicle crash. A vehicle was backing out of a parking spot and struck a parked and unoccupied vehicle next to it.

Officers responded to the Green River Police Department lobby, in regards to a report of harassment.

Officers were dispatched to an address on Hitching Post Drive, regarding a barking dog complaint. Upon arrival, Officers did not hear any disturbance.

Officers responded to the Green River Police Department, in reference to a report of found property. A vehicle accessory was found on Highway 530 near Lost Dog turn off and turned into the Green River Police Department.

Officers were dispatched to an address on South Carolina Drive, in regards to a civil standby.

Officers responded to an address on California Drive, in regards to a barking dog complaint. Upon arrival, Officers did not hear any disturbance.

Officers were dispatched to an area on Hitching Post Drive, in reference to a group of juveniles causing a disturbance. Officers spoke with a group of juveniles about the complaint and advised them of the city curfew ordinance.
