Chris Steffen, Chief of Police reports:

The charge is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.

The following events were reported between 6:00 a.m. on April 28, 2014 and 6:00 a.m. on April 29, 2014:

Officers responded to the Police Department Lobby in reference to a report of found property. The reporting party turned in a bicycle that was found in the area of Logan Street at Astle Avenue.

Officers responded to an address on Shoshone Avenue in reference to a 911 call. Upon arrival Officers determined everything was okay and the call was accidental.

Officers responded to the Police Department Lobby in reference to a report of found property. The reporting party turned a set of keys that were found in the area of Massachusetts Court and Colorado Drive.

Officers responded to an address on Midwest Drive in reference to a report of a parking problem.

Officers took a report of Larceny by telephone. The reporting party advised someone had taken items from their residence.

Officers assisted personnel with Castle Rock Ambulance Service at an address on East Railroad Avenue.

Officers responded to the Green River Horse Corrals in reference to a report of two horses running at large. Officers were able to contact the horses’ owner, and the horses were returned to their stall.

Officers assisted personnel with Castle Rock Ambulance Service at an address on Mansface Street.

Officers assisted personnel with Castle Rock Ambulance Service at an address on Crossbow Drive.

Officers responded to Smith’s Food and Drug in reference to a report of lost property. The reporting party located the property before officers arrived on scene.

Officers responded to an address on Pennsylvania Boulevard in reference to report of Larceny. The reporting party advised someone had siphoned gas from their vehicle.

Officers responded to Castle Rock Veterinary Service in reference to a report of Cruelty to Animals.

Officers responded to an address on West Teton Boulevard in reference to a report of a juvenile disturbance.

Officers responded to an address on West Teton Boulevard in reference to a citizen assist.

Officers responded to an address on Lombard Street in reference to a report of a violation of the Green River Ordinance. Officers were able to locate the suspects and they were advised.

Officers responded to the area of I-80, exit 91, in reference to a REDDI Report. Officers were unable to locate the suspect vehicle.

Officers responded to an address on West Railroad Avenue in reference to a report of suspicious activity.

Officers cited a juvenile for a curfew violation. The juvenile’s parents were contacted and Officers released the juvenile to the parents.

Officers responded to an address on West Teton Boulevard in reference to a citizen assist.

Officer completed VIN Inspections at addresses on Pennsylvania Boulevard, Schultz Street and at the Police Department.
