Chris Steffen, Chief of Police reports:
The charge is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
The following events were reported between 6:00 a.m. on April 30, 2014 and 6:00 a.m. on May 1, 2014:
Officers responded to the area of Scott’s Bottom Road, in regard to a parking complaint. Officers tagged the vehicle for five day parking.
Officers responded to an address on North 1st East, in regards to a parking complaint. Officers spoke with the owner of the vehicle.
Officers responded to the Green River Police Department lobby, regarding a citizen assist.
Officers completed VIN inspections at the Green River Police Department and an address on North 5th West.
Officers were dispatched to an address on Daniel Boone Drive, in reference to a utility call regarding possible damage to a gas line.
Officers were dispatched to an address on Buckboard Lane, in regards to a report of a disturbance. Upon arrival, Officers contacted parties involved and determined a verbal dispute occurred.
Officers responded to an address on East 3rd North, in reference to an agency assist.
Officers responded to the Green River Police Department lobby, in regards to a report of fraud. The reporting party advised a check was fraudulently passed in Green River.
Animal Control Officers responded to an address on East Flaming Gorge Way, in reference to a dog at large. The owner of the dog arrived in the area and the dog was turned over to them.
Officers assisted Castle Rock Ambulance personnel at an address on South 5th East.
Animal Control Officers were dispatched to an address on Hitching Post Drive, in regards to a barking dog complaint.
Animal Control Officers responded to an address on Monroe Avenue, regarding a report of a dog at large. Animal Control Officers located a Chihuahua and returned the dog to its owner.
Officers were dispatched to an address on Gannett Circle, in reference to a report of an abandoned vehicle.
Officers responded to an address on West Teton Boulevard, regarding a citizen assist.
Animal Control Officers responded to an address on Elm Street, in regards to a cat in a trap.
Officers responded to an address on Blake Street, in regards to a report of a suspicious incident. Officers checked on an unsecured property and contacted the owner who reported everything was okay.
