Chris Steffen, Chief of Police reports:
The charge is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
The following events were reported between 6:00 a.m. on May 5, 2014 and 6:00 a.m. on May 6, 2014:
Officers were dispatched to an address on Uinta Drive, in regards to a report of a disturbance. Officers contacted the individual causing the disturbance and a trespass warning was issued for the property.
Officers responded to an address on West Teton Boulevard, regarding a citizen assist.
Officers completed VIN inspections at the Green River Police Department and addresses on : Hopi Circle, South Dakota Street and Colorado Drive.
Officers assisted a motorist on Uinta Drive.
Officers responded to the area of Astle Avenue, in regards to a report of a suspicious person. Officers located the individual and addressed the concern from the reporting party.
Animal Control Officers responded to an address on West Flaming Gorge Way, in reference to a report of a dog (Black Lab.) at large.
Animal Control Officers were dispatched to an address on East 2nd South, regarding a report of a dog at large. Animal Control Officers located a dark colored dog with three legs and took the animal to the Green River Animal Shelter.
Officers were dispatched to an address on Hitching Post Drive, in reference to a report of a juvenile problem. Upon arrival, Officers contacted juveniles and completed a welfare check of the juveniles.
Animal Control Officers were dispatched to an address on Alabama Street, regarding an animal call.
Officers responded to the Green River Police Department lobby, in regards to a citizen assist. Officers assisted the individual with a civil standby regarding a property issue.
Officers were dispatched to the area of Wilkes Drive, in reference to a report of a traffic hazard.
Animal Control Officers were dispatched to an address on South Center Street, in regards to a barking dog complaint. Animal Control Officers posted a notice at the residence.
Officers were dispatched to an address on Hitching Post Drive, in reference to a vehicle crash. A driver collided with a fence along the roadway.
Officers responded to an address on Bridger Drive, in regards to a report of a suspicious person at a residence. Upon arrival, Officers spoke with individuals and determined the individual had permission to be at the residence.
Officers responded to an address on North 2nd East, in regards to a citizen assist. The individual had questions regarding property issues.
Officers responded to an address on Hitching Post Drive, in reference to a report of a vehicle crash. It was reported there was no damage to the vehicle.
Officers were dispatched to the School District #2 School Bus Lot on Monroe Avenue, regarding a traffic complaint. Officers took a report of passing a school bus light violation.
Animal Control Officers responded to an address on South Dakota Street, in regards to a barking dog complaint.
Officers were dispatched to an address on Commerce Way, in reference to a report of property damage. The reporting party advised of damage to the side of a vehicle.
Officers responded to the area of Hitching Post Drive, in regards to a report of a suspicious package by the roadway. Upon arrival, Officers determined the package was an advertisement and everything was okay.
Officers were dispatched to an address on Colorado Drive, in regard to a report of a larceny. The reporting party advised jewelry items had been stolen.
Officers responded to an address on Knotty Pine Street, in reference to an alarm. Officers checked and secured the property.
Officers were dispatched to an address on Monroe Avenue, in regards to a disturbance. Officers requested and assisted Castle Rock Ambulance personnel at the address.
Officers responded to an address on Schultz Street, regarding a barking dog complaint. Officers contacted the owner of the dog and addressed the issue.
Officers were dispatched to an address on East Railroad Avenue, in reference to a report of malicious mischief. The reporting party advised of damage to property and wanted a trespass warning issued to an individual.
Officers responded to an address on East 3rd South, in regards to an unsecured property. Officers checked and secured the property.
Officers assisted Castle Rock Ambulance personnel at an address on Mansface Street.
Officers were dispatched to an address on Hitching Post Drive, in reference to a report of suspicious noise complaint. Officers checked the area and reported everything was okay.
