Chris Steffen, Chief of Police reports:

The charge is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.

The following events were reported between 6:00 a.m. on May 7, 2014 and 6:00 a.m. on May 8, 2014:

Officers responded to an address on West 3rd North, in regards to a report of a stolen bicycle. Officers completed a report on the incident.

Wayne Hester, age 44, was arrested for Violation of a Temporary Protection Order.

Officers assisted Castle Rock Ambulance personnel at an address on Uinta Drive.

Officers completed VIN inspections at the Green River Police Department and addresses on: Pennsylvania Boulevard, Tennessee Drive and Wyoming Drive.

Nuisance Officer responded to an address on Jensen Street, in reference to a report of nuisance property.

Animal Control Officers were dispatched to an address on South 2nd East, in regards to a report of a deceased deer. The animal was turned over to Wyoming Game and Fish.

Officers responded to the Green River Police Department lobby, regarding a citizen assist.

Officers were dispatched to an address on Wyoming Drive, in regards to an alarm. Officers checked the property, which was secured and contacted a responsible party.

Officers responded to the Green River Police Department, in reference to a report of a larceny. Upon further investigation, the incident was determined to be a civil issue regarding property.

Animal Control Officers were dispatched to an address on Schultz Street, in regards to a report of a dog at large. Animal Control Officers located Chocolate Lab. and took the animal to the Green River Animal Shelter.

Animal Control Officers attempted to locate a dog at large in the area of West 2nd North. The dog was described as a black and white Pit bull.

Animal Control Officers responded to the area of Hitching Post Drive, in reference to a report of an injured dog.

Officers responded to an address on West Teton Boulevard, regarding a citizen assist.

Scott Brink, age 46, was arrested for Interference with a Peace Officer, Public Intoxication and a Parking Violation.

Officers took a report of harassing phone calls from an address on Delaware Place.

Officers responded to an address on Idaho Street, in reference to a civil issue involving property.

Officers were dispatched to an address on Pennsylvania Boulevard, in regards to a report of a dog at large. Officers located a Beagle with a collar and no tags. The dog was taken to the Green River Animal Shelter.

Officers responded to the area of West Teton Boulevard, in regards to a report of a dog at large. The dog was described as a Black Lab.

Officers responded to addresses on Monroe Avenue and Hillcrest Way, in reference to a report of a suspicious person selling items door to door. Officers contacted the individual who had a Door to Door Solicitation Permit.

Officers were dispatched to an address on Alaska Drive, in reference to a report of an alarm. Officers determined a car alarm was going off and the owner of the vehicle was trying to shut the alarm off.

Officers responded to an address on Clark Street, in reference to an unsecured property. A responsible party of the address was contacted.
