Chris Steffen, Chief of Police reports:

The charge is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.

The following events were reported between 6:00 a.m. on May 8, 2014 and 6:00 a.m. on May 9, 2014:

Officers assisted Castle Rock Ambulance personnel at an address on South 1st West.

Officers responded to Uinta Drive, in regards to a traffic hazard. Officers located and removed the object from the roadway.

Animal Control Officers were dispatched to the area of Reynolds Street, in regards to a report of a dog at large.

Officers were dispatched to an address on Uinta Drive, in reference to a report of suspicious activity. Officers checked the area and completed a report regarding the incident.

Officers responded to an address on Jensen Street, regarding a nuisance property report. A notice was posted at the property.

Officers responded to the Green River Police Department lobby, regarding a citizen assist.

Officers were dispatched to the area of the Green River Airport, in reference to a report of found property.

Officers completed VIN inspections at the Green River Police Department and addresses on: Logan Street, Midwest Drive, Minnesota Court and Monroe Avenue.

Animal Control Officers responded to an address on Wilkes Drive, in regards to a report of a dog at large.

Animal Control Officers responded to an address on Tennessee Drive, in regards to a report of a dog at large. The dog described as a Dachshund was located and turned over to the owner.

Officers responded to an address on Hitching Post Drive, in reference to a report of a two vehicle crash. Upon arrival, Officers determined one vehicle backed into a parked and unoccupied vehicle and a citation for inattentive driving was issued.

Lacey Stumbaugh, age 24, was arrested for Driving While Under Suspension, No Insurance, and Possession of a Controlled Substance.

Animal Control Officers responded to an address on Maryland Drive, regarding a barking dog complaint.

Officers were dispatched to an address on East Teton Boulevard, in reference to a civil standby.

Animal Control Officers responded to the area of East 2nd South, regarding a report of two dogs at large. The dogs were described as one small black dog and a small white dog.

Officers responded to an address on West Teton Boulevard, regarding a citizen assist.

Officers assisted Green River Fire Department personnel at an address on Hitching Post Drive. A small grease fire in the kitchen occurred and no property damage was reported.

Officers were dispatched to an address on Uinta Drive, in reference to a report of a suspicious person. Upon arrival, Officers checked the area, spoke with the reporting party and determined everything was okay.

Officers attempted to locate a vehicle described in a traffic complaint on Hillcrest Way.

Officers responded to an address on Uinta Drive, in reference to an unsecured property and found keys. Officers checked the area and reported everything was okay.

Officers were dispatched to an address on Riverview Drive, in regards to a welfare check.

Officers responded to an address on Flaming Gorge Way, in reference to a disturbance. Upon arrival, Officers were advised an altercation had occurred.

Officers were dispatched to an address on Uinta Drive, in reference to an alarm. Officers contacted a responsible party and determined the alarm was accidental.

Officers responded to the area of Hitching Post Drive, in regards to two parking complaints. Citations were issued for parking violations.
