Chris Steffen, Chief of Police reports:
The charge is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
The following events were reported between 6:00 a.m. on May 22, 2014 and 6:00 a.m. on May 23, 2014:
Officers responded to the area of Riverview Drive, regarding a citizen assist.
Officers responded to an address on Uinta Drive, in reference to a five day parking complaint.
Nuisance Officer responded to an address on West 2nd North, in regards to a report of nuisance property.
Officers completed VIN inspections at the Green River Police Department and at an address on Nevada Place.
Officers were dispatched to the area of Iowa Avenue, in reference to a traffic complaint. It was reported a vehicle drove the wrong way on a one way street.
Officers were dispatched to an address on Uinta Drive, in regards to a report of a two vehicle crash. Upon arrival, it was reported a vehicle backed out of a parking spot and struck a parked and unoccupied vehicle.
Animal Control Officers took a report of a cat at large on Trona Drive.
Officers were dispatched to an address on West Teton Boulevard, in reference to a report of a suspicious vehicle.
Officers responded to the Green River Adult Probation and Parole Office, in regards to an agency assist. At the office, Michael Pacheco, age 46, was arrested per an Arrest and Hold Order for a Probation Violation on an original charge of Interference with a Peace Officer.
Officers responded to the Green River Police Department lobby, regarding a citizen assist.
Officers were dispatched to an address on Michigan Court, in regards to a report of a disturbance involving a verbal dispute.
Officers were dispatched to an address on Evans Street, in reference to a juvenile problem. Upon arrival, Officers spoke with involved parties and completed a report.
Officers responded to an address on East 4th South, in regards to a report of threatening text messages.
Officers were dispatched to an address on West Teton Boulevard, regarding a citizen assist.
Officers responded to the Green River Police Department lobby, regarding a citizen assist.
Officers assisted a motorist who had car trouble on Upland Way.
Officers responded to an address on Uinta Drive, in reference to a citizen assist. The individual had questions regarding a protection order.
Animal Control Officers responded to the area of Bridger Drive, in regards to a report of two dogs at large. The owner of the animals arrived in the area and retrieved the animals.
Officers were dispatched to an address on Bridger Drive, in reference to a report of vandalism. It was reported juveniles spray painted part of a building.
Officers responded to an address on New Mexico Street, in regards to a report of lost property. The reporting party advised they lost their wallet.
Officers took a report of a sexual assault. The case is currently being investigated by the GRPD Detective Division.
Officers responded to the area of Pennsylvania Boulevard, in reference to a noise complaint. The noise complaint was regarding a loud vehicle.
Officers were dispatched to an address on Hitching Post Drive, in regards to a fire alarm. Upon arrival, Officers determined the alarm was accidental and everything was okay.
