Chris Steffen, Chief of Police reports:


The charge is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.

The following events were reported between 6:00 a.m. on June 4, 2014 and 6:00 a.m. on June 5, 2014:

Officers were dispatched to an address on Kentucky Street, in reference to a dog at large.

Animal Control Officers responded to the Mansface Church, regarding a skunk near the front door.

Officers of the Green River Police Department provided a funeral escort, from the Catholic Church on Hitching Post Drive, to the Riverview Cemetery.

Animal Control Officers were dispatched to an address on North Center Street, in reference to a barking dog complaint.

Officers responded to the Police Department lobby, where a court summons was served.

Officers were dispatched to an address on North 3rd West, in reference to a parking complaint.

Officers responded to an address on Daniel Boone, regarding a report of a possible phone scam.

Officers were dispatched to Adult Probation and Parole, 140 Commerce Drive, in reference to an Agency Assist.

Officers responded to an address on Uinta Drive, regarding a suicidal subject. The subject was provided a ride to a doctor’s appointment in Rock Springs.

Officers and Ambulance Personnel were dispatched to the Skate Park on Uinta Drive, in reference to an injured juvenile.

Officers responded to Adult Probation and Parole, 140 Commerce Drive, regarding an Agency Assist.

Officers were dispatched to the area of Evans Street and Boulder Circle, in reference to a traffic hazard.

Officers and Ambulance Personnel responded to the Castle Rock Medical Center, regarding an infant that was sick.

Officers were dispatched to an address on East Teton Boulevard, in reference to a report of property damage.

Officers investigated a parking complaint, in the area of 2nd North and North 1st East.

Officers and Ambulance Personnel responded to an address on Mansface Street, regarding an elderly female that was sick.

Animal Control Officers were dispatched to an address on Crossbow Drive, regarding a dog at large.

Officers responded to an address on Mountain View Drive, in reference to a subject removal.

Animal Control Officers were dispatched to the area of East 2nd North, regarding a dog at large.

Officers responded to the Green River High School, in reference to a missing juvenile. A short time later, the juvenile was located at home.

Officers were dispatched to an address on Schultz Street, regarding a possible dog fight.

Officers responded to an address on West 5th North, in reference to a juvenile problem.

Officers and Ambulance Personnel were dispatched to an address on East 3rd South, regarding an elderly female complaining of a back, neck and head pain.

Officers responded to an address on Bridger Drive, in reference to a noise complaint. The subject that was contacted was issued a citation for Disturbing the Peace.
