Chris Steffen, Chief of Police reports:

The charge is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.

The following events were reported between 6:00 a.m. on June 5, 2014 and 6:00 a.m. on June 6, 2014:

Officers assisted a motorist on East Flaming Gorge Way. The motorist had a flat tire and needed assistance.

Officers completed VIN inspections at addresses on: West Teton Boulevard, Montana Way and Fox Hills Drive.

Officers were dispatched to the Adult Green River Probation and Parole Office, in reference to an agency assist. At the office, Luis Silva, age 28, was arrested per an Arrest and Hold Order for a Probation Violation on an original charge of Battery Against a Household Member.

Officers and Castle Rock Ambulance personnel contacted an individual concerning a welfare check at an address on Upland Way.

Officers responded to the Adult Green River Probation and Parole Office on four occasions, regarding an agency assist.

Officers assisted escorting an oversized vehicle traveling through Green River.

Animal Control Officers responded to an address on Andrews Street, in regards to a report of dogs at large.

Animal Control Officers were dispatched to an address on South 2nd East, in regards to a report of a dog at large. Animal Control Officers located a Black Labrador Retriever. without a collar and took the dog to the Green River Animal Shelter.

Animal Control Officers were dispatched to an address on East Flaming Gorge Way, regarding welfare check on a dog reportedly left in a vehicle.

Animal Control Officers responded to an address on Monroe Avenue, regarding a report of a nuisance animal.

Animal Control Officers were dispatched to the Horse Corrals on East Teton Boulevard, in reference to a welfare check on a horse.

Animal Control Officers responded to an address on Maryland Drive, in regards to a report of a dog at large.

Officers assisted Castle Rock Ambulance personnel at an address on Crossbow Drive.

Officers were dispatched to an address on Adams Street, in reference to a report of a runaway. The juvenile was located hiding in the residence; Officers spoke with the juvenile and completed a report about the incident.

Animal Control Officers were dispatched to an address on Nolan Street, in reference to a welfare check on a dog left in a vehicle. Animal Control Officers checked on the dog and reported everything was okay.

Officers assisted with a vehicle crash outside of the city limits on White Mountain Road.

Officers attempted to locate ATV’s described in a traffic complaint on Logan Street.

Officers were dispatched to the area of East 2nd South, in reference to a report of trespassing.

Officers responded to an address on Georgia Way, regarding a barking dog complaint. Officers reported everything was quiet upon arrival.

Officers were dispatched to an address on Cumorah Way, in regard to a barking dog complaint. Officers contacted the owner of the dog and addressed the complaint. The dog was taken inside the residence.

Officers were dispatched to an address on South 4th East, regarding a barking dog complaint. Officers completed a citation and a report regarding the incident.

Officers contacted a juvenile out past curfew. The juvenile was issued a citation and released to a parent.
