Chris Steffen, Chief of Police reports:

The charge is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.

The following events were reported between 6:00 a.m. on June 10, 2014 and 6:00 a.m. on
June 11, 2014:

Animal Control Officers responded to an address on West Railroad Avenue in reference to a report of a cat that was caught in a trap.

Officers responded to an address on West Flaming Gorge Way in reference to a 911 call. Upon arrival Officers determined everything was okay and the call was accidental.

Officers responded to an address on Uinta Drive in reference to an alarm. Upon arrival Officers determined everything was okay and the alarm was accidental.

Officers took a report at the Police Department of found property.

Animal Control Officers responded to an address on Colorado Drive in reference to a report of a barking dog.

Officers responded to an address on West Flaming Gorge Way in reference to a welfare check of an elderly subject.

Officers responded to an address on West Flaming Gorge Way in reference to a welfare check of an elderly subject. The call was unrelated to the above mentioned call.

Officers responded to Uinta Drive in reference to a traffic complaint. The reporting party advised a vehicle nearly struck a child in the roadway.

Officers responded to the area of FMC Park in reference to a REDDI report.

Officers responded to Uinta Drive in reference to a motorist assist.

Officers responded to the area of Uinta Drive and Astle Avenue in reference to a report of a traffic hazard. Upon arrival Officers removed a large branch from the roadway.

Officers responded to the Police Department in reference to a citizen assist. A citizen had information regarding a wanted subject. Upon further investigation, Officers learned the subject was incarcerated at the Sweetwater County Detention Center.

Officers responded to an address on Pennsylvania Boulevard in reference to a report of a barking dog.

Officers responded to an address on Elm Street in reference to a report of a Hit and Run. The reporting party advised their vehicle had been hit earlier in the day while shopping at Shopko.

Animal Control Officers responded to an address on South Center Street in reference to a report of a barking dog.

Animal Control Officers responded to an address on Pennsylvania Boulevard in reference to a report of a deceased animal.

Officers responded to the Skate Park in reference to a report of suspicious circumstances.

Officers responded to an address on Tennessee Drive in reference to a report of a barking dog.

Officers responded to an address on Shoshone Avenue in reference to a report of a disturbance.

Officers responded to an address on West 3rd North Street in reference to a report of a Dog at Large.

Officers responded to an address on West Railroad Avenue in reference to a report of suspicious circumstances.

Officers responded to an address on West Railroad Avenue in reference to a report of a Hit and Run. Upon arrival Officers were able to determine the damage was not caused by a vehicle collision but was most likely caused by a rock or similar object.
