Chris Steffen, Chief of Police reports:
The charge is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
The following events were reported between 6:00 a.m. on June 24, 2014 and 6:00 a.m. on June 25, 2014:
Officers were dispatched to an address on Alabama Drive, in reference to an alarm. Upon arrival, Officers reported everything was okay and the alarm was accidental.
Officers were dispatched to an address on Uinta Drive, regarding a disturbance. Officers spoke with the reporting part and advised a verbal dispute occurred.
Officers completed VIN inspections at the Green River Police Department and addresses on East Flaming Gorge Way and North 4th East.
Officers responded to an address on Colorado Circle, in reference to a report of an unauthorized use of a vehicle. Officers spoke with involved parties and determined it was a civil issue regarding the property. The issue was resolved between involved parties.
Officers responded to an address on Hitching Post Drive, in regard to a fire alarm. The Green River Fire Department personnel reported it was a false alarm.
Officers responded to an address on South 5th East, in reference to an agency assist. Officers assisted Department of Family Services on a welfare check of the residence regarding living conditions in the home.
Officers responded to an address on Hoover Circle, in regards to a report of nuisance property.
Officers responded to the Green River Police Department lobby, regarding a citizen assist. The resident wanted a trespass warning issued to an individual for their property.
Animal Control Officers responded to the area of Minnesota Court, in regard to a report of a dog at large. The dog was described as a medium sized black dog.
Officers responded to an address on Hitching Post Drive, in reference to a report of an alarm. The business was conducting a test of the alarm system.
Officers were dispatched to an address on Indiana Court, in reference to a 911 hang up call. Upon arrival, Officers spoke with the caller and advised the call was accidental.
Animal Control Officers were dispatched to an address on Virginia Drive, in regards to a report of a dog at large. Animal Control Officers issued a warning to the dog’s owner.
Officers responded to the Green River Police Department lobby, regarding a citizen assist.
Officers were dispatched to the Adult Green River Probation and Parole Office, in reference to an agency assist.
Officers responded to the area of Mountain View Drive, in reference to a traffic hazard. It was reported building materials fell out of a vehicle. The vehicle was not located and the materials were removed from the roadway.
Animal Control Officers responded to the area of Upland Way, in regards to a report of a dog at large. Animal Control Officers contacted the owner of the dog.
Officers were dispatched to an address on Bridger Drive, in reference to found property. A bicycle was found and taken to the Green River Police Department.
Officers served a court summons at an address on California Drive.
Officers assisted Castle Rock Ambulance personnel at an address on Wilson Street.
Officers were dispatched to an address on Wind River Drive, in reference to a domestic dispute. Officers spoke with parties involved and reported a verbal dispute occurred.
Officers responded to an area of Aspen Street, in regards to a barking dog complaint. Upon arrival, Officers reported the area was quiet.
Officers were dispatched to an address on Midwest Drive, in regards to a two vehicle crash. It was reported a vehicle backing out of a parking spot struck a parked and unoccupied vehicle.
Officers responded to the area of Cumorah Way, in reference to a noise complaint. Officers contacted juveniles in the area who were the source of the noise. The juveniles were warned of curfew and returned home.
Officers were dispatched to an address on North 4th West, regarding a disturbance. Upon arrival, Officers determined a verbal dispute occurred and one party left the residence.
Officers responded to an address on Logan Street, in reference to a parking complaint. Officers tagged the vehicle as abandoned.
Officers were dispatched to an address on Barnhart Street, regarding a suspicious activity. The reporting party stated an unknown person knocked on their door and then drove away.
