Chris Steffen, Chief of Police reports:

The charge is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.

The following events were reported between 6:00 a.m. on July 8, 2014 and 6:00 a.m. on
July 9, 2014:

Officers assisted Castle Rock Ambulance personnel at an address on Mansface Street.

Animal Control Officers responded to the area of Upland Way, in regards to a report of a dog at large. The dog was described as a Char Pei.

Animal Control Officers were dispatched to an address on Rhode Island Place, in regards to a report of an injured deer. Wyoming Game and Fish was notified of the incident.

Officers contacted an individual by telephone regarding a citizen assist. The individual needed a message delivered to relatives in Green River.

Animal Control Officers were dispatched to an address on Illinois Court, in regards to a welfare check on a dog. Animal Control Officers reported the animal was okay.

Officers were dispatched to an address on West Flaming Gorge Way, in reference to a fire alarm. The alarm was determined to be accidental and a result of construction at the address.

Animal Control Officers responded to an address on Montana Way, in regards to a report of a dog at large. Animal Control Officers located a Yellow Lab that was taken to the Green River Animal Shelter.

Officers responded to an address on Jensen Street, regarding nuisance property.

Officers were dispatched to an address on Clark Street, in reference to a welfare check. Officers contacted an individual at the residence and reported everything was okay.

Officers were dispatched to the area of Evers Street, in regards to a vehicle driving on the roadway with fireworks being thrown out of the vehicle.

Officers responded to an address on Reynolds Street, regarding nuisance property.

Officers were dispatched to an address on Trail Drive, in reference to a 911 call. Upon arrival, Officers spoke with the resident and determined the call was accidental.

Animal Control Officers responded to an address on West 3rd North, in regards to a report of a found dog. The dog was described as a female, brown and white Border Collie.

Officers completed VIN inspections at the Green River Police Department and at an address on Evers Street.

Officers responded to an address on West 3rd South, regarding a civil issue.

Officers were dispatched to the area of Upland Way, in regards to a report of a suspicious person. Upon arrival, Officers checked on the individual who needed medical assistance.

Officers were dispatched to the area of South Carolina Drive, in reference to a report of two parking complaints.

Officers attempted to locate a vehicle described in a REDDI report on Bridger Drive.

Officers were dispatched to an address on Barnhart Street, in regards to a report of fraud. The reporting party advised they purchased an item that may have been falsely advertised.

Officers assisted Castle Rock Ambulance personnel at an address on Daniel Boone Drive.

Officers responded to an address on South 2nd East, in reference to a report of a larceny. The reporting party stated their scooter had been stolen. Officers completed a report on the incident.

Officers responded to an address on Clark Street, in regards to a civil standby.

Officers were dispatched to an address on Powell Street, in reference to a welfare check. Officers checked on the individual and reported they were okay.

Officers attempted to locate a vehicle described in a traffic complaint on Uinta Drive.

Officers responded to the area of Monroe Avenue, regarding a traffic complaint.

Officers were dispatched to an address on Grand View Drive, in reference to two found dogs. The dogs were taken to the Green River Animal Shelter.

Officers attempted to locate a vehicle described in a traffic complaint on West Teton Boulevard.

Officers responded to an address on Bridger Drive, in regards to a report of a suspicious person.

Officers were dispatched to an address on Uinta Drive, in regards to a report of a suspicious person. Upon arrival, Officers spoke with the individual and contacted the reporting party about the incident.
