Chris Steffen, Chief of Police reports:
The charge is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
The following events were reported between 6:00 a.m. on July 9, 2014 and 6:00 a.m. on
July 10, 2014:
Animal Control Officers responded to an address on Anvil Drive, in regards to a cat in a trap.
Officers were dispatched to an address on Washington Street, in reference to an alarm. Upon arrival, Officers checked the property, reported everything was okay and the alarm company received a proper code.
Officers responded to an address on Hoover Drive, regarding nuisance property. Officers posted a notice at the residence.
Officers completed VIN inspections at the Green River Police Department and at addresses on: California Drive, Canyon Drive and Elm Street.
Officers assisted Green River Fire Department personnel, in reference to a fire alarm at an address on Alabama Drive. Green River Fire Department personnel reported everything was okay and alarm had been reset.
Officers responded to an address on Alamosa Circle, in reference to an alarm. Upon arrival, Officers reported everything was okay and the owner of the property was contacted.
Officers responded to an address on Uinta Drive, regarding a citizen assist.
Officers responded to an address on East Flaming Gorge Way, in reference to a larceny. The reporting party advised a lawnmower was stolen from the property. Officers completed a report on the incident.
Officers were dispatched to an address on West Teton Boulevard, in reference to a disturbance. Officers reported a verbal dispute occurred and remained on scene for a civil standby.
Officers spoke with a resident over the phone who reported being a victim of a scam. The reporting party sent an item for sale to an individual out of state. The individual receiving the property has yet to pay for the item.
Officers responded to an address on Uinta Drive, in reference to a citizen assist.
Animal Control Officers were dispatched to the area of Wyoming Drive, in regards to a report of a dog at large. The owner of the dog arrived about the same time as Animal Control Officers and was given a warning.
Officers attempted to locate a vehicle described in a traffic complaint on South 2nd East.
Officers responded to the area of Highway 530 just south of town, in reference to a welfare check. Officers checked on a motorist who was towing a vehicle.
Animal Control Officers were dispatched to an address on Bridger Drive, in reference to a found small dog.
Officers responded to a call at an address on West Teton Boulevard. The reporting party wanted a trespass warning issued to an individual for the property.
Officers responded to an address on Bridger Drive, in reference to a report of a suspicious vehicle. Officers located the vehicle and checked the area for the driver.
Officers were dispatched to an address on Fir Street, in reference to a 911 call. Upon arrival, Officers spoke with the caller and determined the call was accidental.
Officer responded to an address on Wilderness Trail, regarding an agency assist.
Officers responded to an address on Uinta Drive, in regards to a report of a vehicle crash. It was reported one vehicle backed into a parked vehicle.
Officers were dispatched to the area of Uinta Drive near East Flaming Gorge Way, in reference to a two vehicle crash. It was reported the vehicles were traveling parallel to each other , when one drive attempted to change lanes, did not see the other vehicle and collided with it. One driver was issued a citation for Inattentive Driving.
Officers attempted to locate a vehicle described in a traffic complaint on Jefferson Street.

Officers were dispatched to an address on North 1st East, in regards to a report of a disturbance. Upon arrival, Officers spoke with the involved parties and reported a verbal dispute occurred.
Officers assisted Castle Rock Ambulance personnel at an address on Crossbow Drive.
Officers received a call in reference to an assault that reportedly happened at an unknown location on Railroad Avenue.
Officers met with a resident at the Green River Animal Shelter, in reference a found dog. The dog found was described as a Pit Bull and was found on Wilkes Drive.
Officers responded to the area of Logan Street, in regards to a report of a juvenile problem. Officers checked the area and were unable to locate the juveniles described by the reporting party.
Officers responded to an address on Bridger Drive, in reference to a report of harassment. Officers spoke with parties involved and the issue was reportedly solved.
Officers were dispatched to an address on East Teton Boulevard, regarding a disturbance. Officers spoke with the parties involved regards a verbal dispute involving each other’s pets.
Officers responded to an address on Cumorah Way, in reference to a welfare check on children at the residence. Officers reported everything was okay and the reported concern was unfounded.
Officers responded to an address on East Teton Boulevard, in reference to a juvenile noise complaint. Officers checked the area and reported the area was quiet.
Officers were dispatched to an address on Park View Street, regarding a welfare check. Officers checked on the individual and reported they were fine.
Officers and Castle Rock Ambulance personnel assisted an individual at an address on Sundance Drive.
