Chris Steffen, Chief of Police reports:

The charge is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.

The following events were reported between 6:00 a.m. on July 15, 2014 and 6:00 a.m. on
July 16, 2014:

Animal Control Officers responded to an address on Crossbow Drive in reference to a report of an animal in distress.

Animal Control Officers responded to an address on Wilderness Trail in reference to a report of a badger in the area.

Animal Control Officers responded to an address on Wyoming Drive in reference to a citizen assist. The reporting party had questions regarding a cat in the neighborhood.

Animal Control Officers responded to an address on East Teton Boulevard in reference to a report of a Dog at Large.

Officers responded to the Police Department Lobby in reference to a report of threats. The reporting party advised they were receiving threatening text messages.

Animal Control Officers responded to an address on Uinta Drive in reference to a report of a Dog at Large.

Animal Control Officers responded to an address on West Flaming Gorge Way in reference to a report of a dog being left alone inside of a vehicle.

Officers responded to an address on Bridger Drive in reference to a report of a Larceny. The reporting party advised their child’s bicycle was stolen from the Green River High School earlier in the day.

Officers responded to an address on West Flaming Gorge Way in reference to a report of a parking problem.

Officers responded to an address on North 4th West Street in reference to a citizen assist. The caller had questions regarding a restraining order.

Officers responded to an address on Cumorah Way in reference to a report of a Larceny. The reporting party advised their bicycle had just been stolen. The reporting party was able to locate their bicycle before Officers arrived on scene.

Officers responded to an address on Davy Crockett Drive in reference to a citizen assist. The caller had questions concerning an earlier report.

Officers observed and assisted a motorist on Railroad Avenue.

Officers responded to an address on Nolan Street in reference to a neighbor dispute.

Officers responded to an address on Uinta Drive in reference to a report of a Larceny.

Officers responded to Expedition Island in reference to a report of harassment. The reporting party advised a person was driving around, making rude gestures towards the reporting party and their family.

Officers responded to an address on East Railroad Avenue in reference to a report of an assault.

Officers responded to an address on Alaska Drive in reference to a citizen assist. The caller had questions about children riding in the front seat of a vehicle.

Officers assisted personnel with Castle Rock Ambulance Service at an address on West Teton Boulevard.

Officers responded to an address on Cumorah Way in reference to a report of a disturbance.

Officers assisted personnel with Castle Rock Ambulance Service at an address on Uinta Drive.

Officers completed VIN Inspection at the Police Department and at addresses on Hitching Post Drive, Sioux Circle and West Teton Boulevard.
