Chris Steffen, Chief of Police reports:

The charge is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.

The following events were reported between 6:00 a.m. on July 16, 2014 and 6:00 a.m. on
July 17, 2014:

Animal Control Officers responded to an address on Wyoming Drive in reference to a report of a cat that was caught in a trap. The cat was impounded at the Animal Shelter.

Officers tagged two vehicles for Five Day Parking on West Flaming Gorge Way.

Animal Control Officers responded to an address on Davy Crockett Drive in reference to a report of a Dog at Large. The dog was impounded at the Animal Shelter.

Officers responded to an address on East Flaming Gorge Way in reference to a report of a parking problem.

Animal Control Officers responded to an address on Davy Crockett Drive in reference to a report of a Barking Dog. Upon arrival, Animal Control Officers were unable to make contact with the owner of the dog and posted a notice at the residence.

Officers responded to the Sweetwater County Probation and Parole Office in reference to an agency assist. Michael Pacheco, age 46, was arrested on an Arrest and Hold Order.

Officers responded to an address on West Flaming Gorge Way in reference to an alarm. Upon arrival, Officers determined everything was okay and the alarm was accidental.

Officers responded to the area of Monroe Avenue and Uinta Drive in reference to a report of a Dog at Large.

Officers responded to an address on Bridger Drive in reference to a Welfare Check.

Officers assisted personnel with Castle Rock Ambulance Service at an address on Crossbow Drive.

Officers responded to an address on West Teton Boulevard in reference to a report of suspicious circumstances.
Officers responded to the Police Department Lobby in reference to a report of Property Destruction.

Officers responded to an address on Colorado Circle in reference to a 911 call. Upon arrival, Officers determined everything was okay and the call was accidental.

Officers responded to an address on Barnhart Street in reference to a report of a suspicious person. The reporting party advised a person had been parked in the area for a long time. Upon arrival, Officers contacted the person and learned they were waiting for a person that lives in the area.

Officers took a report of a parking problem at an address on West 3rd South Street.

Officers took a report of a parking problem at an address on West Flaming Gorge Way.

Officers assisted a citizen on Crossbow Drive.

Officers responded to an address on Cumorah Way in reference to a report of Domestic Violence. Upon arrival, Officers determined there was a verbal argument.

Officers responded to the area of Nolan Street in reference to a REDDI report. Officers were unable to locate the reported vehicle.

Animal Control Officers responded to the area of Uinta Drive in reference to a report of a Dog at Large. Animal Control Officers were unable to locate the animal.

Officers responded to an address on Schultz Street in reference to a report of a Dog at Large. The dog was impounded at the Animal Shelter.

Officers responded to an address on Wilkes Drive in reference to a report of harassment. The reporting party advised they were receiving harassing text messages.

Officers responded to an address on Astle Avenue in reference to a report of a deer that was stuck in a fenced in area.

Officers assisted personnel with Castle Rock Ambulance Service at an address on Wilkes Drive.

Officers responded to an address on Firehole Place in reference to a report of a Dog at Large. The dog was impounded at the Animal Shelter.

Officers responded to an address on New Mexico Street in reference to a 911 call. Upon arrival, Officers determined everything was okay and the call was accidental.

Officers responded to an address on Uinta Drive in reference to a report of suspicious circumstances. The reporting party advised someone had placed surveillance equipment in their walls. Upon arrival, Officers observed no surveillance equipment in the residence. A report was written concerning the incident.

Officers responded to an address on South 5th East Street in reference to a report of a disturbance.

Officers completed VIN Inspections at the Police Department and at addresses on West Flaming Gorge Way, Cedar Street, Arkansas Drive, Sioux Circle, South 1st West Street and Uinta Drive.
